My antidote is self-greatness, through realizing the self-nature Great Perfection. Whatever is accustomed in this way, the meanings of resting without seeking are found. Without meditating, great bliss increases, manifestly realizing in self-nature. Whoever encounters this, even if possessing heinous sins, is liberated by habituating to this, without any doubt of falling into hell. Thus it is said. Secondly, specifically explaining the nature of original liberation, there are three: Showing that because of being liberated from the beginning, there is now self-liberation, without needing the antidote of effort. Instructing not to stray from the self-nature of that nature. Preventing from going elsewhere other than self-arising in its own state, just without a basis. First, from the String of Pearls: Not liberated by effort, but abiding in liberation from the beginning. Thus it is said. Also, because ignorance itself is self-arisen, the cause of delusion is pure from the beginning. Because everything arises as the Dharmakaya itself, the lineage of rebirth is cut off from the root. Because it abides originally in wish-fulfilling wisdom, all movements are self-abiding. Because breath is cut off from the beginning, birth and death have never existed. Because the qualities of desire are originally complete, the extreme of attachment is meditation itself. Because the limbs have not moved and have already gone from the beginning, the path of going has already been traveled from the beginning. Because the spoken word is inexpressible, it is originally beyond speech and thought. Because the arising and gathering of thoughts are originally empty, it originally abides in great contemplation. Because all stains are self-purified, it abides in great stainless transparency. Because there is no place where doing arises from, from the very beginning it is free from doing and being done. Because there is no other-arisen dharma from the basis, from the very beginning it is self-arisen and unique. Because the number of one and two is exhausted, the bindu is itself separated from the moon. Because darkness is completely pure from the beginning, the appearance of awareness pervades with clear light. Because samsara is immutable and has ceased, it is the spontaneously perfect Buddha-place from the beginning. Because the objects of signs are empty and clear, the mind of self-grasping is exhausted from the beginning. Because all conditions are self-liberated by conditions, all dependencies are left as they are. Thus it is said. Secondly, from the Overturning Extremes: The limit of the Great Perfection of self-nature, all dharmas abide in their own place, because appearance, awareness, and dharmata are united, original liberation and resting are the ultimate. View is beyond mind, signs are pure in their own place, the extremes of emptiness and entity are liberated, movement ceases and there is no conceptualization.

It is beyond the exhaustion of intellect and mind. As it says before: The five elements themselves are primordially pure, appearances are liberated into clear light. The five senses themselves remain focused, the five objects of grasping are liberated in their own place. Third, in the Uttaratantra it says: The so-called liberation of one's own mind is not going from one place to another. The mind that is not liberated by anything is complete from the beginning, so there is no coming and going. It cannot be found by analysis, there is no reason. Because there is no basis, it abides in emptiness and clarity. That mind that abides in self-clarity is liberated by the key point, so there is no partiality. Liberated by time, so there is no dependence. Liberated without effort, so there is no diligence. Liberated by confidence, so there is no effort. There it is explained that liberation is through confidence. Because it is liberated from the beginning, there is no basis for repetition. Because it is liberated by itself, there is no antidote. Because it is liberated by focusing, it disappears in sight. Because it is completely liberated, it is effortless. So, the three doors are liberated from the beginning, so there is no need for initial effort to liberate. The body does not need to change mudras, etc., because the elements are liberated by their own key point, so they do not return to the six realms. Speech does not need the effort of reciting mantras, etc., because speech is liberated into clear purity, so everything spoken is liberated by the key point of sound and meaning. The mind does not need the effort of meditating on samadhi, etc., because everything thought is liberated by the key point of intention. Because it does not come from elsewhere, it is self-liberation, so there cannot be an antidote. Like this, the key point of self-liberation is that there is no antidote. So-called liberation, there is liberation by merely abiding, liberation at the key point by merely knowing, primordial liberation, self-liberation, focused liberation, complete liberation, etc., many kinds, but this is said to be self-liberation, because there is no antidote, so there is no need for effort. Third, explaining the meaning of self-liberation in detail, there are three: briefly indicating the essence, explaining the nature separately, and summarizing the meaning. First, in the Pearl Rosary it says: For the unobstructed awareness, because there is no cause for delusion, there is no place to return. Because it is primordial liberation, it is completely superior. Because it is self-liberation, objects and conditions are exhausted. Because it is focused liberation, appearances are purified. Because it is ultimate liberation, the four extremes cease. Because it is one liberation, the many are emptied. Like this, the transparent awareness without duality of inner and outer, like a naked crystal
