Thus. Then, if illusory appearances are allowed to return to their own place, won't they become confused again? Answer: Although ordinary sentient beings become confused by clinging to self, yogis do not become confused because they know that it is without basis and leave it in its natural state without modification. As the Garland of Pearls says: "Those sentient beings in samsara are bound by their own conceptual thoughts. Knowing that there is no self-nature, they are sure to be liberated." Furthermore, confusion and liberation depend on inner awareness. External appearances do not cause any confusion or liberation. Therefore, it is sufficient to leave appearances as they are. As Tilopa advised, "Appearances do not bind, clinging binds. Naropa, cut off clinging." That is how it is. The meaning of reality is simply to leave one's own awareness in its natural clarity. Other than that, deliberately fabricated views, meditations, and practices cannot improve it, because its nature cannot be changed, and self-born wisdom would become false. As it says in the Perfection of Skill: "Thinking does not find the meaning of wisdom. If thinking could find the meaning of wisdom, self-born wisdom would become false. Meditation does not see the Dharmakaya. If meditation could see the Dharmakaya, self-appearing dharmata would become false. Looking does not realize the meaning of awareness. If looking could realize the meaning of awareness, the unceasing Dharmakaya would become false. Dharma does not cut off the root of ignorance. If Dharma could cut off the root of ignorance, primordial purity wisdom would become false." Thus, if one realizes appearances and awareness as dharmata, then no matter how one acts, one does not go beyond dharmata. No matter what appears, it arises as unceasing play. Therefore, it arises as the mandala of self-born meaning. Eating and drinking are the close practice of dharmata. Sleeping and abiding are the practice of enlightenment. Intentional abiding is samadhi. Excrement and urine are the practice of the mandala. The three thousand worlds are the spontaneously accomplished mandala. Rain and water are natural drippings. Roads are the great boundary of self-nature. Footprints are the dust colors of color. Movement is the self-nature of mudras. Speech is the vajra recitation. Recollection and thought are the wheel of the generation stage. All appearances are the play of deities. One's own body is the vase of empowerment. Natural abiding is the constant samaya. Awareness is the self-luminous instruction. Birth and death are the habitual patterns of dharmata. The perception of the objects of the six consciousnesses arises naturally. Spontaneously accomplished in the great realization of the complete liberation of the three realms.

The method of accomplishment: As stated in "The Rosary of Pearls": Emaho, all phenomena that appear in this way, If even delusion itself is self-liberated, How could those without delusion not be liberated? All speech, actions, and activities, are the wonderful functions of empty and clear awareness. All thoughts of good and bad, are the great river of meditation. All desires for wrong views and right views, are the yogi's impartial view. All attachments to hope and doubt, are fruits mixed with falsehood. If you want to attain the Great Seal, then eating and drinking are serving, sleeping and sitting are practicing. All formations are the remaining conditions. Spit and vomit are the practice of the mandala, The entire three thousand worlds are the mandala, Rain and water vapor are sprinkled. The path of going is the great boundary line, The footprints are powder color paintings. Those who want to go, their posture is it, The movement of the limbs is the mudra. All words spoken are the words of mantras, All thoughts are the generation stage, The transformation in the mind is the offering, The form that appears is the body of the deity, The loud tone is the musical instrument. One's own body is the vase, The hair is like flower petals, a beautiful decoration. Blood and pus are the water, The heart and so on are filled with substances. Give away the senses that appear to oneself, Without invitation, one is already complete. Those who want to cross over are the vows, Those who want to protect are the bonds, Those who want to be liberated are the transgressions, Those who want to be non-existent are the supreme Buddhas. All that is seen is the nature of the mudra, Attachment to it is experience. Clear knowledge and awareness are the instructions, The union of object and mind is the place of establishment. Birth, old age, sickness, and death are the key points of habituation, The non-cessation of the six consciousnesses is realization. So on and so forth. Thus, whatever a yogi does arises in the nature of reality, which is the Dharma of the deity's mandala, complete with empowerment and instructions. The wheel of the complete Dharma nature, naturally like a flowing river, the continuous samadhi without interruption, without effort, without relying on cause and effect, naturally attains accomplishment, rare and wonderful, attains the supreme ground, and completes the great mandala. As stated in the "Refutation Treatise": Thus, everything is the nature of reality, Therefore, there is nothing to be taken, Nor is there anything to be abandoned, This is the Dharma nature of the place where there is nothing. All appearances arise from one's own nature, The artificial Dharma nature is nowhere else, No matter how one acts, non-discrimination arises, Without taking or abandoning, all is self-appearance.
