To go to that state is like the ripples in water or the coils of a snake naturally dissolving. That is because it is free from the clinging to samsara and nirvana, so it is called a yogi who transcends the Dharma. The state of arising, feeling, and discriminating thoughts naturally dissolving, as stated in the "Six Spaces": In the nature of mind that appears as an object of focus, the parts that focus naturally dissolve; in the nature of mind that appears as a collection of consciousness, all feelings naturally dissolve; in the nature of mind that appears as mind, the parts that discriminate naturally dissolve; in the nature of mind that appears as form, the aggregation of elements naturally dissolves; in the nature of mind that appears as consciousness, causes and conditions naturally dissolve; in the nature of mind that appears as feeling, all experiences naturally dissolve; in the nature of mind that appears as concept, the number of afflictions naturally dissolves; in the nature of mind that is free from discriminating clinging, the energy of memory naturally dissolves. Thus it is said. These are the key points of the Great Perfection of Naturalness, spoken for the sake of those with mental elaborations. From the Treasury of the Supreme Vehicle, the profound and vast path of entering the gradual mind with an object of focus is extensively explained, this is the seventeenth chapter. Eighteenth Chapter: Showing the Bond of the Path of Clear Light Vajra Essence. Having thus shown the path of entry for those who delight in mental elaboration, now, for the sake of those who are completely free from elaboration, the great secret of the good path of self-appearing awareness, the Vajra Essence, is shown in two parts: it is necessary to ascertain how it surpasses the common vehicle, and to explain the special path itself. The first part is that it surpasses by seven key points: other paths are quickly realized because of great wisdom, but because the liberation is small, they cannot be liberated, while this path, with the key point of the faculty of sight, has no sharpness or dullness of faculties except for the size of diligence; other paths rely on the discrimination of their own Dharma nature, like a blind man throwing stones in the dark, while this path does not rely on the discrimination of the mind, but exists as if directly perceived, so it is the key point of not relying on the mind; other paths rely on the order of expressive words, hoping to realize the meaning from the beginning, while this path does not rely on a single word, and the meaning appears directly, so it is the key point of not attaining Buddhahood through words; other paths analyze the meaning of their own way of abiding with the mind as an object,

Compared to observing the timing, this is the key to achieving Buddhahood through the self-manifestation, without relying on the base and path of mentally fabricated thoughts; others rely on the sequence of cause and effect, seeking Bodhi from elsewhere, while this does not rely on the karma of good and bad causes and effects, Bodhi manifests from within oneself, which is the key to not needing effort and acceptance or rejection; others believe that the channels, energies, and bindus flourish in youth, achieving Bodhi but with the exhaustion of strength in old age, making it impossible to liberate, while this is the key to the self-arisen luminosity of the sun and moon manifesting from within, so that if one has diligence, there is no old or young age for liberation; others rely on clinging to the ultimate result as the three bodies, while this is the key to the three bodies appearing as the path, in the ultimate luminosity, the primordially pure realm, the constant stability of spontaneously accomplished awareness is grasped; thus, the seven superiorities surpass all the common Hearer Vehicle up to the Secret Mantra Outer and Inner Nine Vehicles. So, is this also Ati (Sanskrit: Ati, Romanized Sanskrit: Ati, literal Chinese meaning: extreme)? If asked whether it surpasses Ati, then, in Ati, there are also the three classes of Mind Series, Space Series, and Instruction Series. The Mind Series relies on vast openness and the absence of a base, therefore awareness directly manifests, the mind momentarily abides in self-luminosity, and the manifestation of the nine movements without movement is regarded as ultimate. In reality, because there is no real observation, only mental speculation, the definite key points are not directly seen, therefore it surpasses the Mind Series. In the Instruction Series, the outer, inner, and secret three classes rely on the Bardo period. But this has the key to liberation into the light body, therefore this is particularly superior. In short, the key points are inconceivable, and although superior, they cannot be expressed, so I will not elaborate here. Relying on the key points of channels and energies, the commonality is that the channels and energies, which are conventional and coarse, are used as the path, therefore relying on many efforts such as physical exercises, there are very many obstacles and deviations. But this considers the coarse as something to be abandoned, and only binds it with the three immovable key points, without making it the path. Instead, it takes the channels and energies of ultimate wisdom, which transcend grasping and effort, as the path, therefore training the body to purify into light. It does not rely on common trul khor and obstacle removal, because obstacles are illusions, they are suffering. That is because they arise when the channels and energies of illusion are used as the path, because illusion is used as the path. This is the real
