And, afflictions will bind to me. One will also lose the path to Buddhahood, and not understand the nature of the result, and the baselessness of all dharmas being equal, the self-aware three realms being bound, and one will fall into a state of conceptualization. Thus it is said. Therefore, one should strive in meditation. Third, its meaning is the arising of the nature of phenomena of the basis of existence and non-existence. The previous so-called establishing the basis refers to transforming everything that appears into the path through conceptualization. At this time, because the proliferation is moderate and liberated in its own place, it does not move from the way the basic substance resides, and it can abide on it. In the Sixth Sphere it says: In the mind itself without thought, Without grasping, unobstructed self-appearance, Knowing the face of the self-aware clear object, Called the meaning of the great base, Samantabhadra I have shown. In the mind itself without thought, The self-abiding spontaneously arising appearance, Called the meaning of the four sounds self-returning, Samantabhadra I have shown. In the mind itself without memory, The appearance of the moving self-purification, Grasping self-purification is called meditation, Samantabhadra I have shown. Thus it is said. Fourth, its result is, the afflictions grow and increase by themselves, the part of the afflictions that is self-purified appears as wisdom, all the various dharmas that appear as signs are liberated nakedly and self-clearly in the nature of the Dharmakaya. In the Sixth Sphere it says: In the mind itself that is naturally accomplished, The great base is naturally pure in its own place. In the mind itself of the great original fall, The appearance is directly naturally pure in its own place. In the mind itself that appears to be, False words are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be non-existent, Taking what is not given is naturally pure in its own place. In the mind itself that appears to be yes and no, Non-virtuous conduct is naturally pure in its own place. In the mind itself without immorality, Idle talk and so on are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be an object, Slanderous words and so on are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be moving, Wrong desires and so on are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that is pure from the beginning, Killing and so on are also naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be a condition, Covetousness and so on are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be a result, Harmful thoughts and so on are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be sound, Sounds and so on are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be form, The parts of grasping and so on are naturally pure in their own place. In the mind itself that appears to be smell, The parts of knowing and so on are naturally pure in their own place.

Ra dag! In the nature of mind that appears as a rope, the experiencing consciousness is liberated in its own place. In the nature of mind that appears as touch, the consciousness of the touched is liberated in its own place. Thus it is said. Third, the yoga of continuously practicing the view has four aspects: cutting off the continuity of the city of views, the instruction for that is the method of the stable mountain king, its meaning is the complete liberation of the three realms, and its result is the purification of the place of afflictions. First, there are two: the general excellent distinction of the view, and the determination of one's own meaning. First, there are three aspects: nature, difference, and boundary. The nature of the view is related to the mind that realizes that the phenomena of existence, the container and its contents, are primordially liberated and abide as such. In the decisive [text] it says: The nature of the view is in the container and its contents, since there is nothing not pervaded, everything is liberated. The nature of liberation is devoid of maturation. Whatever appears is from its own nature. There is no artificial nature apart from it. However one practices, non-conceptualization arises. There is no abandoning or taking, it is self-appearance. Thus it is said. The differences are the view of words and meanings, the view of names, and the view of nature, three in all. The first is the view of words, which is considered to be primordially free from action by the individual intellect, considered to be effortlessly primordially liberated, considered to be of different kinds depending on the guidance of the higher and higher levels of mind, considered to be beyond virtue and vice, considered to be unmade and unborn, considered to be great, considered to be unchanged and self-purifying, considered to be spontaneously arising and self-liberating, and so on, seven in all. The view of meaning is the view of awareness on its own ground. In that very [text] it says: There are two aspects of the view, the view of words and the view of meaning. The view of words is in the seven levels, each with its own desires made into thoughts, such as freedom from action, effortless, gradual entry, distinguishing self and other, cutting off life, being free from virtue and vice, being unmade, having no place of origin, being unchanged, the appearance being self-purifying, and afflictions being self-placed and liberated. Meaning is the direct perception of the nature of reality, not by wisdom, but by seeing it as the very object of the senses. Thus it is said. The view of words is the condensed common view of the Great Perfection Mind Division. Second, the view of names is the view of each of the nine levels. In the decisive [text] it says: The names of words are the four views of outer, inner, secret, and unsurpassed. Outer is on the view of phenomena, the desires of the mind of the eight levels.
