Experiences of appearing in bliss arise. From the clear light, smoke, mirages, fireflies, clouds, lightning, burning, the moon, Rahu, the appearance of black jewels, the appearance of five lights, bindus, deity images, sentient beings, and many pure lands are seen. And one can see the coarse, obstructive external forms, and be able to pass through walls and fences from the meditation room, etc., and various eyes and clairvoyance arise. From the non-conceptual clear light, samadhi mixes with day and night, and when looking at any appearance, it disappears without thought, any talk becomes meaningless and without thought, and the immeasurable experience of always feeling like one is abiding in the state of space arises. These all appear to be established by the measure of experiential certainty, so it is a very profound key point. If you do not mix equanimity with sleep, sit in the lotus position. For a moment, fix your eyes on the space, and when the awareness becomes clear and pure, lower your eyes slightly and look straight ahead, and a fresh experience will arise. Recognizing that experience, meditate by abiding in that state. Awareness is self-luminous, and the clarity is like the sky, that is the clear light. By becoming accustomed to that state, appearances and mind become one, like merging into space, that is the experience. Feeling like one exists in the realm of space, and sometimes feeling like body and mind are separated, etc., countless experiences will arise. At that time, countless rainbow lights, bindus, and body images will also appear. The self-sound of the five elements becoming clear is called the outer color light. From the color light, one can see the dust particles and internal organs of one's own body, and it appears like daytime. One can also see inside other bodies, in pure lands and countries, what sentient beings are doing, as well as death, transmigration, and taking birth. Second, post-meditation refers to rising from equanimity. After rising from that state, look at the external appearances, these five-colored appearances, as well as sentient beings, plants, and things that arise, and view them with the eight similes of illusion, and view them as space, and integrate them with the present experience, and practice emptiness and clarity as a single, non-grasping unity, this is the correct key point. Second, in the evening, gathering the senses into their places, that is, from the secret of sitting in the lotus position...

In the central channel between the apertures of Brahma, visualize the white syllable "Ah" as if stacked stones are placed, and visualize all (channels and energies) merging from bottom to top, one dissolving into the other, up to the apertures of Brahma. Finally, rest the mind in the state of emptiness. Third, at midnight, place awareness into the vase: When sleeping, lie in the lion posture, focusing on the five-colored light flame in the heart as you fall asleep. Fourth, at dawn, clarify wisdom: Look upwards in the lion posture, visualizing a white syllable "Ah" floating in the sky a bow-length above the crown of your head. First, visualize the "Ah" syllable clearly, and then, even when the "Ah" syllable is no longer there, do not let other thoughts scatter; meditate in this clear and lucid state. These are crucial points from experience, so they should be practiced diligently. Fifth, transference of consciousness (phowa) has three types: the superior is transference from clear light, the intermediate is transference from the illusory body, and the inferior is transference from the body and speech. These are not three places of transference, but rather three kinds of wisdom abilities of the one who transfers consciousness. Some associate transference with three places, but that is another explanation. Here, if one has mastered clear light, then at the time of death, from the state of clear light, extract consciousness from the aperture of Brahma and transfer it to the Dharmadhatu. If one has mastered the illusory body, then at the time of death, from the state of the illusory body, project consciousness from the aperture of Brahma and transfer it to the deity body of the meaning of Dharmata, thereby attaining the bardo illusory body and ultimately attaining Buddhahood. If neither of these two are mastered, then coordinate the key points of body, speech, and mind with the channels and energies, and transfer consciousness from the aperture of Brahma. As stated in the Compendium Sutra: "The distinctions of transference are of three kinds, according to the distinctions of the faculties: clear light and illusory body, and the inferior body, speech, and mind." Therefore, transference from body, speech, and mind has two types: transference that relies on the channels, energies, and the functioning of dependent origination, and transference that does not rely on anything, but relies solely on the focus of the mind, which are called transference with signs and transference without signs. The Compendium Sutra states: "Transference of body and speech are of two kinds: transference with signs and without signs. Transference with signs is the method of training the energies, sound, crafts, and illusion, and mastering dependent origination, the elements of each being internally harmonious, accomplished through the focus of body, speech, and mind. Transference without signs relies on the power of the mind's habituation." The aperture of Brahma is the path of transference. The Four Vajra Seats state: "Above the nine apertures, immediately transferring consciousness with the mind, then..."
