This has no perfection. It is free from dwelling and coming. Likewise, the state of primordial great emptiness. From nothingness, the aspect of the dharmadhatu appears. This has no inside or outside. There is no view of above or below. No one can find it in any direction or boundary. This has not the slightest thing to grasp. Thus it is. Fourth, the extensive explanation of categories. Among the five: body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, the body of the Dharmakaya is emptiness, luminosity, and without characteristics; speech is inexpressible, beyond sounds and words; mind is without memory, thought, or conceptual elaboration; qualities are irreversible, therefore without change; activities are spontaneously accomplished, abiding as the basis of uninterrupted manifestation. As the Ornament of Clear Realization says: The Dharmakaya is body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities. Body is emptiness and luminosity, the nature of being without characteristics. Speech is separated from sound, words, and names, free from speaking and talking. Mind is without thought or movement, transcending all scattering and activity. Qualities are without coming or returning, pervading the dharmadhatu and wisdom, and its nature is unconditioned. Activities are unborn and unarisen, spontaneously arising without cessation, and are unmade and made. Thus it is. Second, the extensive explanation of the Sambhogakaya also has four aspects: essence, definition, classification, and categories. The characteristic of the essence is the complete perfection of great self-luminous clarity. The way the essence abides is as an unmoving body, clear in signs, marks, and lineage, yet unmoving. The definition of the Sambhogakaya is that it enjoys the appearance as the Sambhogakaya, and in that enjoyment, wisdom is uninterruptedly enjoyed. The body is the appearance of self-luminous great splendor. The classification of the Sambhogakaya is fourfold: the body of the essence of the great elements, the body of the abiding pervasive manner, the body of the appearing path, and the body of the manner of appearance to be tamed. The first is: arising spontaneously from the ground of the Dharmakaya's manifestation, perfected as a body of five lights, it is the nature of the ground appearance of the great elements, manifesting as the nature of warmth, coolness, vastness, and pervasiveness. The second is: to all Buddhas and sentient beings, the aspect of pervasion by light and light-clusters becomes manifest, that is, from Self-Arisen: In all, it abides as the essence of light, the immaculate dharmadhatu without conceptualization, the unequaled unique one, mandala, retinue, and palace, awareness, emptiness, and clarity. Thus it is. The third is: the ground appearance of the nature of reality.

The Sambhogakaya Buddha appears as a path in the bardo for sentient beings. At this time, in order to guide the beings to be tamed, it naturally arises from the inner space of the Dharmakaya. In the realm of light and color, mandalas, retinues, individual groups, bodies, wisdoms, fathers, mothers, body colors, and hand symbols are clearly manifested. As stated in the Secret Seed Tantra: "In the appearance of self-nature, the body of self-nature appears, like oneself and a reflection. The three bodies are luminosity and emptiness. It is not permanent, nor is it a thing. It is not annihilation, but a luminous body. It is not different, there is no inside or outside." Fourth, the Sambhogakaya appears to each of the beings to be tamed as their respective families and mandalas. Through various transformations, it becomes the master of the beings to be tamed. The Dharmakaya of the Sambhogakaya is Vairochana. Ganchen Tso (Snow Mountain Lake). Its way of being is that the inside is clear when viewed from the outside, and the outside is clear when viewed from the inside. It is transparent and unobstructed, with no front or back. No matter where you look, it seems to be showing itself, facing all ten directions, open and vast. Its pure land is perfectly adorned. In the palm of its hand, on top of a lotus, it possesses twenty-five worlds. The place is the pure and dense Akanishta, the retinue is no less than itself, the teaching is the self-manifestation of self-born wisdom, and the time is when realization manifests. Although this is an emanation relative to the self-manifest primordial, it is established as the Sambhogakaya because it possesses the marks and signs relative to the luminosity of the beings to be tamed. The Sambhogakaya of the Sambhogakaya appears as the five principal lords of the five families. Its nature is that the essence is different, but the self-nature is one. The pure lands are the countless mandalas of the respective families. The place is the supreme Akanishta, the retinue is the five families of each, and the teaching is the practice of the five wisdoms. The time is when appearances gather and increase. The Nirmanakaya of the Sambhogakaya is the five Buddhas and their respective principal retinues. Its nature is that appearances are without self-nature, and clarity is without conceptualization. Its pure land is the pure appearance of enjoying countless gods and goddesses. The place is the grove of willows, the basis for the arrangement of wisdom. The retinue is countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The time is the time of self-manifestation of awareness. This does not refer to the grove of willows where yakshas dwell, but to the pure
