Because the emanation manifests this Dharma, or the emanation does not appear to the beings to be tamed, because the Dharmakaya does not appear. Therefore, the three bodies also do not acknowledge that it is a form of one essence in wisdom, that kind of one essence, and the emanation body is a part of compassion. Therefore, the appearance of the emanation is an image emanation, not a real emanation, because it is not compassion. The differences between the schools are also extremely subtle, and wise people should think and understand. This is a very important key. Second, there are three explanations of the meaning of this time: a general indication of the location of the three bodies, a separate explanation of the location of wisdom, and a summary of the meaning of the five locations of body, speech, mind, merit, and action. First, there are the Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. First, the location of the Dharmakaya is explained in detail, with four aspects: essence, definition, classification, name, and detailed explanation. The essence of the Dharmakaya is self-born wisdom, emptiness and clarity, free from elaboration, namely the five aspects of abiding, nature, self, compassion, and manifestation. The way of abiding of the essence is abiding without being contaminated by any faults, so it is the nature of original purity. The nature of the essence is the essence of emptiness and wisdom. The nature of the essence is not mixed with anything. The compassion of the essence is undivided, inseparable, and without separation. The way of manifestation of the essence is non-duality. The definition is: from the Dharma of imputation and name, it matures into a body, so it is unreal, and no nature can be determined, and emptiness is not established anywhere, so it is called Dharmakaya. Dharma is: the uncontaminated Dharma of the Buddha's land is related to wisdom. Body is: there are no marks, face, hands, or feet, only the essence of wisdom is unchanging. The classifications are: Dharmakaya related to the nature of things, Dharmakaya related to the way of abiding and pervading, and three kinds of Dharmakaya related to the way of classifying and manifesting. The first is: relying on Dharmata, it is not established in any essence, so it is free from the edge of elaboration. Things are beyond recognition, so there is no birth, death, transfer, or change. Finally manifested, so Dharmata is inconceivable. The second is: the Dharmakaya that pervades all of samsara and nirvana is the two kinds of purity that are free from temporary defilements, namely Hevajra (Tibetan: ཧེ་བཛྲ)

Among them. Sentient beings are truly Buddhas, but are obscured by sudden defilements. Removing those is Buddhahood itself. Thus it is said. In the Uttaratantra: The body of the complete Buddha is for the sake of spreading, likewise because Suchness is inseparable, because it possesses lineage, all sentient beings constantly possess the essence of the Tathagatagarbha. This is a part of that becoming manifest. Third, it is the teaching of the aspects of awareness, emptiness, qualities, and so on, from each individual vehicle. In this Great Perfection, if divided by various emanations, then the Dharmakaya's Dharmakaya realm is inconceivable, the place is the Dharmata that transcends thought, the Samadhi is the great unwavering absorption, the retinue is the non-duality of self-nature, the teaching is the Dharmata that is inexpressible, the time is the Dharmata that never changes. The Sambhogakaya realm of the Dharmakaya is free from dust and without impurity, the place is the self-extinction of the thoughts of memory and mind, the Samadhi is the cessation of the arising sensations of mind and mental events, therefore wisdom abides in its own place, the retinue is the agent of the self-appearance of emptiness, the teaching is the complete purification of the object of focus, the time is the great expanse of primordial equality because it is not measured. The Nirmanakaya of the Dharmakaya, the realm is emptiness without interruption, the place is the foundation of all, the profound clarity, the great self-radiance, the Samadhi is unceasing self-illumination, the retinue is the purity of unobstructed appearances, the teaching is the unconditioned self-nature, the time is the manifestation of the essence. These are also established from the aspect of the Dharmakaya that is primordially pure and self-abiding, as it is said in the Ratnakuta Sutra: The Dharmakaya that is self-purified by clinging, in the palace of self-purification without elaboration, the appearance of samsara and nirvana inseparable from it, with the word of no characteristics, the words of no elaboration, non-abiding self-extinction arising from the mind, unspoken speech without speaking, shown in the state of great equality. Thus it is. These are also merely established upon aspects, and are not established in any way in meaning, therefore they abide in the Great Perfection that is free from extremes. Again, in that same sutra it says: The place of this is called this, in the realm with names that are called by fame, because no form appears, from the Dharmadhatu of emptiness without existence, in the self-essence of the Great Secret, abiding as it is from the very beginning, in the manner of a place without grasping, the great play first arose. In this there is no one who abides, there is no place made by anyone.
