These all express the aspect of self-existing spontaneous accomplishment. Because there is no contradiction, primordial purity and spontaneous accomplishment are non-dual. Second, explaining the nature in detail: Within the Dharmakaya of primordial purity, the wisdom of spontaneous accomplishment also exists as a subtle nature. The three wisdoms that are the basis of existence are actually present in a subtle way. From that aspect, the five wisdoms that grasp characteristics and the aspect of the wisdom that knows knowable things are present as the basis of manifestation, just before they actually arise. From the *Thal 'Gyur*: "Also, when the mind itself ripens, it abides as the basis in the Dharmakaya. From the beginning, it is pure, so defilements are exhausted. The essence is primordially without confusion. The manifesting activity is unceasing, it is spontaneously accomplished." That is to say, in the expanse of primordial purity, spontaneous accomplishment abides, and thus the subtle aspects of essence, nature, and compassion actually appear. These three wisdoms that are the basis of existence are the basis of manifestation for the other two wisdoms. Again, from that same text: "Thus, in the liberated mind itself, there is no lack of compassion. By the wisdom that abides as the basis, the nature makes the basis of manifestation by its own power. By the wisdom that grasps characteristics, it ripens the purification by conditions. By the wisdom of knowing and knowable things, it bestows accomplishment upon those with devotion." That is to say, how do these three that are the basis of existence make the basis of manifestation? Essence makes the basis of manifestation for the three kayas, but the three kayas have not yet arisen as distinct phenomena. Nature makes the basis of manifestation for the five lights, but the colors have not yet arisen as their own characteristics. Compassion makes the basis of manifestation for the two wisdoms, but there is no actual measurement of objects and appearances. From the *Thal 'Gyur*: "Also, because essence abides in the kaya, the manifestations of Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya are not separated, there is no way to distinguish them. Even from the accomplishment of the natural flow, the colors of the kayas and so forth are beyond the scope of the mind. The nature's manifesting activity is the form of light. White, red, yellow, green, and blue are not characterized by distinctions, but are accomplished from the flow of undifferentiated knowable things. The manifestation of compassion is diverse, because it cannot be determined as one particular thing, it is called the basis because of the diverse appearances." Also, from the *Klong Drug Pa*: "Because the characteristics with substance are naturally pure, it abides in the great basis of profound clarity. Empty of pervasion and that which is pervaded, from the very beginning, there is unceasing appearance. The manifesting aspect of the manifesting activity does not cease. All the essence is gathered together, without defilement, and naturally pure. Buddhas

In the great secret, it abides in the aspect of self-nature. From the various manifestations of compassion, emptiness is never interrupted. In the two wisdoms of knowable objects, it appears from the aspect of manifestation. From the self-purification of non-existent appearances, the compassion of the power of self-nature, because there is no effort of action, in the ways of uncreated appearances, it appears without any separation from the beginning. Like light to the sun, it is not made by oneself, but one's own self-nature appears as such. Thus it is said. The wisdom of the aspect of compassion, which knows the suchness of knowable objects, knows the reality of one's own things. If there is no aspect of that wisdom, what difference is there from the form of the four elements? The wisdom of compassion, which knows all knowable objects, knows the thoughts of those to be tamed. Without this, it is the same as space. Therefore, the wisdom of all-knowing appears in the aspect of compassion. All of this is not held by memory, but abides in self-nature, and does not coarsely abide in the grasped and the grasper. Appearing in the aspect of profound, clear, and subtle, this is the path of sentient beings. Growing upwards like a seed, this manifestation is uninterrupted, and like the power of a medicine of its own kind, it appears harmoniously to the six realms of beings. Therefore, it is called compassion. Thus it is said. That is, when the emanation body arises from the aspect of manifestation, the two wisdoms also actually benefit the six realms of beings to be tamed, but in the time of original purity, it does not actually exist. It abides in the state of a seed in the form of an aspect. From the "Six Realms" it is also said: Essence, self-nature, and the manifestations of compassion, appear to the wise. Since essence is not established anywhere, the aspect of self-nature appears clearly. From the aspect of compassion, the two wisdoms arise without action or agent. Because of the arising appearance of the two stages, such activities of wisdom appear to be free from effort and practice. The wisdom of the Buddhas appears in this way from the beginning. Thus it is said. Thus, the ultimate Dharmakaya, which is inseparable from the realm and wisdom, is the place of liberation where original purity and spontaneous presence are inseparable, and is called the Great Original Purity. Although it abides in the manifestation of self-nature, because the essence is not established anywhere, the ultimate truth is the complete Great Perfection, the nature of reality beyond body and wisdom, like the sky. This is the ultimate result, the inner
