Remembering one thought, remembering a hundred thousand with extreme purity, and remembering seventy-two kotis of births with utmost purity, like holding a fresh Emblica fruit in the palm of one's hand. With the perfectly pure vision that eliminates later arising confusion, one knows the characteristics of the body taken in previous lives; with perfect purity, one knows speech; with extreme purity, one knows mind; and with utmost purity, one sees the characteristics of all three, body, speech, and mind, simultaneously. With the mind's vision that perfects the knowledge of those to be tamed, one sees the characteristics of the bodies of countless hundreds of thousands of sentient beings; with perfect purity, one knows speech; with extreme purity, one knows mind; and with utmost purity, one sees all three simultaneously. With the mind that transforms the invisible into the path, one knows in an instant the number of atoms in the three thousand great thousand worlds; with perfect purity, one knows simultaneously the number of how the consciousness of those sentient beings dwelling in those atoms changes; with extreme purity, one knows the nature of the container and its contents; and with utmost purity, one sees the meaning of the Dharma nature, emptiness. With the mind's vision that perfects all beings, one sees simultaneously how the wind moved at the time when one's own body was taken; with perfect purity, one sees simultaneously the number of how many non-virtuous thoughts moved at that time; with extreme purity, one sees simultaneously the number of virtuous thoughts; and with utmost purity, one sees simultaneously the number of both virtuous and non-virtuous thoughts. With the mind that is liberated from perverted faculties, one sees the characteristics of the place and time of how many births one has taken in the past; with perfect purity, one sees the previous birth places of others; with extreme purity, one knows the actions of one's own body, speech, and mind at those times; and with utmost purity, one knows simultaneously the characteristics of the previous birth places of both and what actions the three doors performed. Thus, the six clairvoyances of the mind, divided into four each, are twenty-four categories of Dharma. Third, the six clairvoyances empowered by wisdom: the wisdom vision that is free from intellect, free from words, free from conception, free from investigation.

Separate from concepts. The wisdom-vision that discerns characteristics, and the direct knowledge of the wisdom-vision that is separate from characteristics. Among them, due to being separate from the mind, one immediately sees the characteristics of one's own mind; due to complete purity, one sees others; due to extreme purity, one sees both oneself and others; due to utmost purity, one sees all that remains. The wisdom-vision that is separate from words, one sees all the words of the scriptures simultaneously; due to complete purity, one knows their meaning as it is and the inverted meaning; due to extreme purity, one knows their results and places of liberation; due to utmost purity, one sees their individual conduct. The meaning of the scriptures that is not inverted is the uncommon secret, and the inverted meaning is the common view and practice, which are measured by the discriminating mind. The wisdom-vision that is separate from thought, one knows the nature of all phenomena; due to complete purity, one sees the faculties of beings who practice these phenomena, whether sharp or dull; due to extreme purity, one knows the places of liberation of the faculties; due to utmost purity, one knows the dharma that corresponds to the faculties. The wisdom-vision that transcends discrimination, one sees all the common meanings of phenomena as higher vision; due to complete purity, one sees one's own meaning; due to extreme purity, one sees both the common and one's own characteristics as higher vision; due to utmost purity, one sees the meaning that transcends words and letters. The wisdom-vision that cuts off birth, one sees the causes of the phenomena of samsara; due to complete purity, one sees their conditions, the characteristics of the afflictions; due to extreme purity, one sees their timing and characteristics; due to utmost purity, one sees liberation from them. The wisdom-vision that is separate from characteristics, one grasps the extent of the movement of one's own mind; due to complete purity, one directly sees the characteristics of the mind; due to extreme purity, one sees the movement of the minds of other sentient beings; due to utmost purity, one knows simultaneously the movement of the minds of sentient beings of the three times, as well as the differences between thoughts, non-thoughts, and ideas. Thus, dividing the six direct knowledges of wisdom into four categories, there are twenty-four. Fourth, the wisdom-vision, the six direct knowledges of complete purity, concerning the Dharma.
