and control over wisdom, light, color, and so on. The recollection of the place of birth, at the time of breathing in the final nirmanakaya realm, is born there and emits. The recollection of meditation allows one to naturally abide in the five-day self-nature meditation. The recollection of the guru's instructions allows one to know in self-appearance and act in Dharma-nature. The recollection of the view is the direct view of Dharma-nature, previously seen. Recognizing it at this time, without doubt, is like meeting someone you knew before. That is also because the appearance of previous delusion is transformed into the immediate appearance of the present moment. Delusion is transformed into luminosity, and when the non-grasping awareness is clear in the heart, the Dharma-nature is seen with undiscriminating eyes. Because the basis of no-view and no-meditation, primordial purity, is settled, all appearance-grasping is exhausted, which arises from realization. Transcendence says: Furthermore, the appearance of Dharma-nature is explained. Impurity is delusion. The root doors are not modified, and settling down is the key. Transformation from this is the oral instruction. In the appearance of non-grasping, a non-grasping mind arises. Seen with undiscriminating eyes. Guided from the path of no Dharma-nature. Placed on the basis of no-view and no-meditation. Gathered into the fruit of no-action and no-effort. Here, the limits of appearance do not abide. So it is said. At this time, the six recollections, the six superknowledges, the unfailing dharani, and the fourteen kinds of constant samadhi are shown to be controlled by the power of self-recognition. Those recollections are also spoken of after the superknowledges in the tantras, but here they are spoken of first in conjunction with the order of birth in the tantras. In the great commentary of the Union of Sun and Moon, the Precious Golden Rosary, it says: Recollection is first, because of the power of previous special karma, these will appear before those superknowledges. The definitive scriptural authority for recollection is in the Union of Sun and Moon, which says: At that time, six recollections will also appear. By recollecting the deity, one can immediately see the face of the yidam deity. By recollecting the paths, one can control the Dharma-nature of the bardo. By recollecting the place of birth, one can breathe the last senses in the self-nature nirmanakaya realm. By recollecting meditation, one can abide in meditation for five days.

And, by remembering the Guru's instructions, to practice inseparably from one's own appearances, and by remembering the view, it is like recognizing someone you knew before when you meet them later by chance. Third, there are six ways in which direct perception arises: direct perception of the senses, direct perception of the mind being workable, direct perception of being in control of wisdom, direct perception of pure vision of wisdom, direct perception of seeing the nature of reality without error, direct perception of seeing the Buddha's knowledge without error. If these are divided by parts, each one has six, making thirty-six in total. First, the first of the six direct perceptions of the senses, the direct perception of the eye arises, from the eye that is pure like a water bubble, seeing things completely transparently without opening or closing the eyes, and seeing hidden coarse objects because the flesh eye is pure, seeing those that are within five cubits, and seeing the four continents including Mount Meru as one because the flesh eye is completely pure, and seeing two or three because the flesh eye is very pure, and seeing up to a million because the flesh eye is extremely completely pure, and seeing billions and countless millions without error because the flesh eye is most extremely pure. Then, with the eye of wisdom, seeing a hundred Nirmanakaya realms at once, and seeing eight hundred thousand Nirmanakaya realms because of purity, and seeing a million Nirmanakaya realms because of very purity, and seeing ninety million because of extremely purity, and seeing ninety-one because of most extremely purity. Then, with the eye of omniscience, seeing a hundred Sambhogakaya realms at once, and seeing five hundred thousand because of purity, and seeing fifty million because of very purity, and seeing seventy countless billions at once because of extremely purity. Then, with the eye of all aspects of knowledge, seeing inconceivable Dharmakaya realms at once, and seeing inconceivable Sambhogakaya realms at once because of purity, and seeing inconceivable Nirmanakaya realms at once because of very purity, and seeing the endless realms where the three bodies play freely at once because of extremely purity.
