and be liberated. Thus it is said. Moreover, if one adds a syllable from the tantra to each word, such as "fire, deaf, ye, and knowledge," and doubts arise about the tantra, the sutra says, "A (Tibetan: ཀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) is the door of all dharmas because it is unborn," and so on, explaining each word by attaching a meaning to it. In other new tantras, there is also this fault in the explanation of letters. If one thinks that there is a difference between the translation of mantras and prose, the sutras and treatises say that the same fault can be found in the combination of summary, detailed explanation, and meaning consolidation. Since the tantras of the Great Perfection of Naturalness are all pith instruction tantras, they are easy to understand, and the attached meaning of each word is also easy to understand, so it is said. Great scholars who were proficient in various languages appeared, and they corrected the sounds of letters that were difficult to understand in their own translations, and translated and arranged them in an easy-to-understand and error-free manner. It is the kindness of the translators who were superior to others. Thus, if the five wisdoms are separated one by one, they will become twenty-five kinds of distinctions. These detailed classifications have been explained before, so I will not elaborate on them here. The fourth meaning is the detailed classification of activities and actions, which is divided into three points: a brief explanation of the nature of the four activities, a detailed explanation of the order of natural perfection, and a summary of the meaning by the appearance of self-manifestation. The first point is divided into seven aspects: nature, definition, classification, mudra, deity assembly, essence, and mandala. Among them, the nature of activity is the spontaneous accomplishment of the two benefits, which abides in the essence of wisdom. In "Self-Arising," it says: The wisdom of all activities is to do all things. Thus it is said. The definition is: It says, "Activity refers to the Buddha himself, practice refers to cultivating wisdom, activity is said to be oneself, arising from me and perfected in me, and it is the same at the base of perfection." Thus it is said. There are four classifications, and again it says: "Peaceful and increasing, as well as subjugating and wrathful." Thus it is said. The mandala is: without being drawn, it is inherently pure, self-perfected, and inherently possessed. The mudra is: without being changed, it is inherently perfect, and the supreme enlightenment and so on appear on the five bodies. The deity assembly is: without being generated, the peaceful and wrathful ones who are inherently perfect abide within oneself. The essence of the mantra is:

The wheel of root letters and its essence, the four lamps, appear in the realm. It is also said in Rangshar: The mandala of all activities is present within oneself without searching. The mudra of all activities is perfected in the ground without alteration. The assembly of deities of all activities is perfected in one's own body. The essence of all activities is said to be the great wisdom of the lamp. So it is said. Secondly, there are two ways to explain the order of self-perfection in detail: the way of perfection in the primordial ground and the way of perfection in the time of sentient beings. The first has two parts. The general teaching is that in the primordial pure ground, the five lights of inner wisdom are clear in the space of the matrix, and blue is the space of all things. Therefore, it is not counted, and the four colors of white, yellow, red, and green are said to be the activities that arise from it. From that, it says: Also, the meaning of the four activities is perfected in blue itself. The four activities are accomplished on the ground. Therefore, the color is said to be blue. And: The meaning of the four kinds of activities is well-completed on the ground. This is also taught as follows: The colors white, red, and various lights are accomplished by descending on the ground. White possesses the mandala of peace. The color yellow possesses the light of increase. Red is considered the light of power. Green is said to be the light of wrath. Blue is the light of perfect activity. So it is said. Secondly, there are four specific explanations. First, pacification: From that, it says: White is the peaceful nature of Dharma. Where are the stains of affliction? The uncontaminated mandala is like a pure crystal ball, undefiled by the faults of stains. Likewise, in the peaceful nature of Dharma, there is no contamination of affliction. So it is said. Second, increase: Again, from that, it says: In the yellow, increasing nature of Dharma, all qualities arise. Like a precious jewel, fulfilling all needs and desires, the great increasing nature of Dharma, by the manifestation of various qualities, liberates all sentient beings. It is considered the great increase of qualities. So it is said. Third, power: Again, from that, it says: Red is the nature of power, accomplished on the ground without searching. Power itself is the essence of Dharmakaya, all accomplished without searching. For example, in precious gold, yellow does not need to be searched.
