Because the previously impure light exists within itself, its six types of radiance also appear there individually. As it says in "Self-Arisen": The impure, deluded light has six. In the lowest of the lowest faculties, white appears, and yellow appears. Red appears, and also green. Likewise, blue also appears. It is said to appear as a dim color. That is the impure, deluded light. Thus it is. If these lights are gathered together, for the unenlightened beings, it is the light of delusion, and for the enlightened, it is gathered into the two lights of wisdom. As it says in that very text: The divisions of light are inconceivable, but remember the brief explanation in your mind. It is considered the pure light of wisdom and the impure light of delusion. Thus it is. Because there is light in the Dharmadhatu, it is clear as the body and wisdom. Even in this time of delusion, the appearance of the five elements does not go beyond the five colors, and all beings abide in that state. It should be known that the inexhaustible manifestations, rays of light, and immeasurable bodies of the Buddhas also arise from that. As it says in that very text: Everything is also within its expanse. I have spoken and shown it. Thus it is said. The third meaning is the detailed classification of dependent wisdom, which has three aspects: essence, divisions, and explanation of the definitive words of the divisions. First, the essence is: the knowledge that has not been created from the beginning, which arises from the state of Dharmadhatu, Rigpa, primordial purity, and emptiness of Dharmata. As it says in the Tantra of Great Self-Arisen Rigpa: Alas! Secret Lord, be sure to remember, wisdom that is not Dharma is self-born. All Dharmas arise from within it. From that, wisdom arises. Thus it is. Second, the divisions: If these five wisdoms are gathered by the continuum of sentient beings with defilements, it is called the wisdom of self-nature spontaneously present. If the defilements are purified, at the time of Buddhahood, it is called the wisdom of realization manifest as the fruit. It is explained as these two. As it says in that very text: The way of explaining great wisdom is: the Buddha of manifest realization and the Buddha of self-nature spontaneously present. From the beginning, self-nature is spontaneously accomplished. Then realization becomes manifest. The definitive words of wisdom are thus. Thus it is. Third, the definitive words of the divisions have two aspects: the common detailed classification and the separate explanation of the definitive words. First is: As it says in that very text: Dharmadhatu wisdom is without thought, mirror-like wisdom is clear without obstruction, equality

Wisdom unmixed is complete. Individual observation wisdom is observed as before. Accomplishing activity wisdom, all dharmas are complete. Thus, it is considered to be fivefold. Thus it is. Secondly, again, from that it is said, the combination of words and meanings is like this: The wisdom of the dharmadhatu is, the realm of great emptiness itself, the appearance of clear light, and the three objects of wisdom and awareness. The combination of these three is called dhatu. There are also two types of that: pure wisdom dhatu and impure sentient being dhatu. The pure wisdom dhatu is, the space of empty-clear indivisible awareness, the palace of the unchanging dharmakaya. The impure sentient being outer dhatu is, emptiness, ignorance, unconditioned. From that, it transforms into the appearance of earth and stones, which is the realm of sentient beings. That is the wisdom of the dharmadhatu. Mirror-like wisdom is, for example, on a mirror mandala, whatever condition is shown, that condition appears. Similarly, awareness is without impurity, and is under the control of the conditions of affliction. The awareness that is liberated from that is, to be known within recognition. The way of liberation of characteristics there is, various appearances are the objects of knowledge and awareness. The doubts that appear in the mind, are perfected in the nature of awareness. The dharmas of mind and objects are also, perfected in the nature of awareness and wisdom. The definition of that is like this: because it uses various things, it is "mirror". Because of realizing and familiarizing with that, it is "like". Mirror-like wisdom is just like that. The meaning of equality wisdom combined is, on the nature of equality of all dharmas, not falling to any side. Equality is the lord of all Buddhas, all dharmas are complete at the same time. The definition of equality is like this: because the nature of reality is without limit, it is "equal". Because it possesses the meaning of awareness, it is "nature". Equality wisdom is just like that. Individual discriminating wisdom is, to realize awareness that is separate from action and agent. There are also many ways to realize that, which are explained in the words that appear below. The definition of that is like this: because of the twenty-one faculties, it is called individual discriminating. Individual discriminating wisdom is just like that. Accomplishing activity wisdom is, whatever appears is perfected in the nature of awareness. It is perfected in the nature of non-action and non-thought. That yoga of abandoning activity, is slowly accomplished on the true ground. Thus, after realizing the meaning of great wisdom, truly
