Therefore, sow there. The instruction called "Sowing in a bird's nest," the meaning of this metaphor is appropriate. These are the general classifications of the bardo, and there is a need to distinguish them easily. The second meaning is to explain in detail the respective natures, which are four points: In the bardo of nature, the instruction is like putting decided knowledge into a bird's nest; in the bardo of dying, the instruction is like using a mirror to illuminate unclear things; in the bardo of dharmata, believing in self-appearance is like meeting an old acquaintance or a child throwing himself into his mother's arms; in the bardo of existence, continuing the karma is like a fox entering a gap in a dam. The first point is: Before making a bird's nest, one must observe whether there are harmful enemies, and after confirming that there is no harm, the nest is built. After that, no matter when one enters the nest, there is no need to cut off feathers, because there is no doubt or obstruction. Similarly, the yogi must first observe that if he wants to be liberated from samsara, which method is the most profound and which point is the most important, and then avoid the three situations of not having a final decision, having doubts, and not entering at the beginning for the dharma that he believes in. First, tame the mind through hearing, in the middle, make a decision through thinking, and finally, repeatedly practice through meditation to make the mind happy, which is like building a nest. Just like entering a bird's nest, implement the meaning, and enter without fear or anxiety at the time of death. These meanings have been explained in detail before, and here is a brief explanation of the practice method. When looking at external appearances, view the appearing objects as a magical illusion wheel, and when you see that it is only the self-nature of rootless emptiness, the myriad phenomena appearing as various things naturally appear as a mirror for contemplation and behavior, because this is the self-power of the unobstructed appearance of dharmata. That is to say, when you see the overall appearance of things appearing in various colors, such as silk houses, everything that appears, arises, and is heard appears as the play of self-nature pure emptiness, and when you abide without any change or modification, the appearance is liberated from the place of appearance, the illusion is liberated in the rootless, and it merely appears as the play of illusion, thereby liberating from the samsara of clinging to external objects. For the parts of things, such as mountains, houses, good people, men, women, etc., first divide whatever appears as external objects into parts, and wherever it appears

When letting go completely, without engaging in discriminating great wisdom, without transforming appearances with the mind, and the mind is not stolen by appearances, but naturally abides, still and unmoving. The six consciousnesses are not obstructed, but remain as they are, the appearances of the nature of reality naturally arise. Like this, when looking outward at things with qualities, recognizing them as the empty essence without a place to be found, the apprehended object is purified like the sky, therefore it is called realizing that the apprehended object has no inherent existence. Like this, when observing the consciousness of the one who looks outward, Movement vanishes, awakening without distinction, clearly awakening, realizing self-luminosity without interruption, inwardly realizing the great state of reality without arising, ceasing, or abiding. The grasping mind naturally awakens in a state without support, like the sky, completely released. Clearly aware without support, naked and transparent, empty without truth, empty without foundation. In the state of the great equality of reality, joyful and smiling, when remaining still, the grasping mind arises inwardly, and there is a need to go beyond the bonds of the mind. Like this, when realizing that external objects and mind have no foundation, no root, the secret self-awareness, free from the elaborations of grasping and being grasped, becomes naked. Recognizing the great self-luminous purity of wisdom through the instructions of the guru, when meditating with the four lamps in the state of indivisible space and wisdom, luminosity, the five lights of the nature of reality appear outwardly, like reflections in a mirror. Although the form appears outwardly, the essence abides within. Knowing that appearances and emptiness are like reflections of the moon in water, not clinging to appearances with attachment or aversion. When looking outward at the luminosity of external appearances, the luminosity of inner wisdom also appears inwardly. Wisdom is free from the antidote of the meditating mind, in a naturally clear, vast view. Meditation that abides in a natural state is clear. There is no acceptance or rejection in the practice of luminosity. Obtaining the fruit of original purity and self-luminosity. Abandoning confused appearances without abandoning them, stopping confused thoughts without stopping them, dualistic grasping is not Practiced but purified. Pure from the beginning without abandoning faults, spontaneously accomplished without seeking qualities. The realization of complete liberation from the three realms. Transcending the object of view. Transcending the mind of meditation. Transcending the calculations of practice. Transcending the dharma of the result. In the fortune of completely emptying samsara, the pure land of the manifestation of reality expands. In the excellent land of the source of happiness, obtaining the palace of spontaneously fulfilling desires. With the primordial protector, the unchanging king of light.
