The self-manifestation of the activities of sound and form bodies is the pure Dharmata Bardo. All the phenomena of the deluded six realms are the impure deluded Bardo. Where do these two, pure and impure, exist? Since one departs from the realm of primordial purity and must dissolve back into primordial purity, it exists in the nature of primordial purity. The beginning also arises from there, and now it abides within the inner and outer aspects of its manifestation. Ultimately, it must also be delivered into its nature. There is no Bardo in the realm of primordial purity, because it does not depend on the before and after of other phenomena, and it is impossible to enter between anything, because it transcends the limits of change and appearance-emptiness. As the "Destruction of Extremes" says: In the very beginning of primordial purity, even the basis of delusion cannot be spoken of. Likewise, what is non-delusion? This key point, if one has wisdom, is a great bond. Second, the definition: "Bardo" refers to the Dharma that is in the middle of anything, whether above or below, before or after. For example, the dream Bardo is like being between falling asleep and waking up. "Bar" means the middle. "Do" refers to the connection that combines the beginning and the end, like the connection in the middle of a yoke. Third, the classification: There are two types, common and uncommon. In some common vehicles, there are the Bardo of birth and death, the Bardo of dreams, the Bardo of Dharmata, and the Bardo of existence, etc. But in the uncommon vehicle, the King of Secrets (referring to Tantra), it is considered that there are four Bardos: the Bardo of nature, the Bardo of dying, the Bardo of Dharmata, and the Bardo of existence. As the "Destruction of Extremes" says: Such is the Dharmata of the Bardo, the teaching of the most secret Dharmata, divided into four aspects. Fourth, there are two ways of appearing. First, the general explanation: What appears to the general aspect of the three realms is: the manifestation of grasping and clinging, attachment and aversion, and afflictions, as well as the subtle form and formless realms. What appears to each of the six realms is: for the same water, gods see it as nectar, etc. As the "Two Truths" says: Although the object is one, the minds are different, therefore it is seen as unreal. For an individual, for one person like Lhasin (a name), it appears as many enemies and friends, as well as pleasure and pain, delusion and non-delusion, attachment and aversion, good and bad.
