In the very beginning, it is seen. On the eye, the wise place it thus, and also see the clarity of one's own light. When one looks at another with the corner of the left follower, one sees the appearance of rays, the connecting thread in between. The wise place two mirrors beside the pigment, and when one looks with the clear eye at the supreme method, the measures of awareness, mother and child, all meet, and one knows the measures of the mother of Dharma-nature. The image of a plum, empty inside, opens the power gate. Placing a lamp inside, hold onto the wisdom gate. Look inside the bowl filled with water. One will meet the face of the thigle itself. Having spread out white and red silk cloths, when one looks with an eye possessing clarity, one will meet the faces of the lights of all the wisdoms. At the edge of the ocean, pond, or pool of water, when one looks at it with an eye possessing clarity, with a mass of light filling the sky, one establishes the appearance of the first bardo.
