Shin. Thus it is said. From the Root Wisdom: "Like a dream, like an illusion, like a city of Gandharvas, thus it is born, thus it abides, thus it is also said to perish." Thus it is said. Where does it appear? It appears in the mind. Like the hair seen in a mirage, it appears to the impure sense faculty of one with eye disease. From the same: "In the mind itself, which exists as an object, various appearances arise spontaneously, names and colors separately, complete as two kinds of forms." Thus it is said. Although it appears in the mind, these appearances that are outwardly clear are not one's own mind, because although without self, they exist, and abide in objects, and are seen as colors, shapes, and so on. Because these are not in the mind, they are not the mind. Here, the objects of appearance, such as forms, which appear outside, are shown to be non-existent, and the clear appearance is mistaken as being like a dream. The grasping of the object of appearance that arises first, such as thinking "this is a form," "this is a color," is called the appearing mind. It is identified as the grasped mind, the mind of the object. If one thinks that this appearing mind exists, it is not true because it grasps the clear appearance without an object. And because the color cannot be determined, it also does not exist. And because it is examined in terms of arising, abiding, and ceasing, it does not exist. Therefore, it is said to recognize the nature of mind as emptiness, to recognize it as self-extinguishing, without support, primordially pure. Therefore, ordinary Dharma and ordinary Dzogchen practitioners, because they do not distinguish between appearance and the object of appearance, think that the self-characteristic of the outer object of appearance is the mind, which is a mistake that falls into the Mind-Only school with its true phenomena and defilements. Here, when recognizing appearance as mind, the mind grasps appearance and non-appearance. Therefore, the mind that first encounters the object is considered the appearing mind, and the subsequent discernment of its distinctions as mental factors is considered the grasping mind. Therefore, it is called the cycle of confusion, appearance, and grasping of confusion that should be abandoned and purified. As it is said in the Two Truths: "Mind and mental factors are of the nature of the three realms, conceptual thoughts with various superimposed aspects." And as it is said in the Treasury: "Discernment and observation are coarse and subtle." Therefore, it is very important to place all that is said to be abandoned on a consistent ground. Those with superior wisdom should understand this. That is, such a view is necessary to meet the outer and inner without a basis. Second, establishing the secret sphere of inner mind through the key points is to examine the mind.

When (it) is not recognized as essence, it does not become like matter. Even in confusion, "Salewa (ས་ལེ་བ)" cannot be recognized, and it cannot be expressed. But in the self-illuminating emptiness, the immaculate original purity (ཀ་དག) appears, and it is introduced in the Dharmadhatu within the exhaustion of phenomena. Therefore, the realization of being without extremes and immaculate arises from within, and by being accustomed to this state, the appearance of the clear light Dharmadhatu will also be naturally seen. From the adornment of introduction: By the emptiness that was originally non-existent, phenomena are self-exhausted, called clear light. By the emptiness free from action, the clear light symbolizing the three bodies is found. Thus it is said. Third, the key to the secret Dharmadhatu is to ascertain the unsurpassed awareness. That emptiness purified in the Dharmadhatu of mind is not an empty nothingness. In Salewa (ས་ལེ་བ), it is shimmering. When the self-clear and self-illuminating wisdom Dharmakaya, which is recognized by each individual's own nature, is introduced as immaculate, it is not cut off from the aspect of awareness. Since there is no entity, it is not permanent. Since it cannot be expressed in any way, it is placed in the vast expanse that transcends both and neither. The self-radiance of awareness, along with the continuous bindu (藏文:ཐིག་ལེ,梵文:bindu,梵文罗马拟音:bindu,字面意思:point), is self-appearing. That is, in that (tantra) it says: The awareness abiding in the ground, meets with the Dharmadhatu where the nature of phenomena gathers. The awareness that holds characteristics, meets with the completely pure Dharmadhatu. The continuous awareness, meets with the Dharmadhatu of self-luminous light. Thus it is said. Therefore, when the external appearance is introduced as rootless, the cycle of phenomenal external world, the vessel and its contents, is averted. When appearance is introduced as mind, the object-consciousness of arising and self-dissolving is averted. When mind itself is introduced as emptiness, the root of grasping and clinging, delusion, is cut off. When emptiness is introduced as Dharmadhatu awareness, the practice is integrated into the unity of the three bodies. In order to attain complete Buddhahood in one lifetime, the introduction of how to reverse delusion from the mind is shown to be extremely precious. By the introduction of analogy, the meaning that awareness wisdom exists within oneself, is confirmed with conviction by the lamp of Bodhicitta. That is, in that (tantra) it says: Measuring all the Buddhas, rely on the wisdom of analogy. Measuring the wisdom of signs, rely on the lamp of bindu emptiness. Measuring the wisdom of meaning, rely on the manifest clear appearance. Thus it is said. In short,
