is a part of that. That is also a part of the root-essence water lamp. The bindu is a part of the empty lamp. The five lights are a part of the space. Non-conceptual knowledge is a part of the wisdom lamp. From the Pearl Rosary: Awareness, non-conceptual, like a continuous stream, appears from the gate of great bliss and Brahma. So it is said. Sixth, the way of generation is from the navel. From the Blazing Lamp: Initially, when entering the mother's womb to generate one's own body, the essence of all the body's elements, from the great knot of the navel's vein, in the central triangle, from the pure causes and conditions of the parents, it forms like the fruit of the eye. That is also from the two parts of the parents, mixed with black and white. So it is said. Seventh, the gate is the clear center of the eye's pupil. From that very text: The gate of appearance is the two eyes themselves. From the veins that cause the senses to appear to their objects, all this appears. So it is said. Eighth, the corresponding example is like a hook that grasps the appearance of objects. From that very text: For example, just as a grasping hook grasps whatever appears from its tip, these two grasp the tips of samsara and nirvana. So it is said. Ninth, regarding the measure, there are three. The measure of the lasso of assembled elements is the completion of the expansion and contraction of the appearance of objects. The measure of wisdom is seeing the continuous stream. The measure of assembled essence is distinguishing the particular appearance of forms. From that very text: The meaning of the lamp causing appearance, the appearance of object-forms, and awareness as well, the appearance of the continuous stream is the measure. So it is said. Second, regarding the lamp of the empty bindu, there are also twelve aspects: essence, definition, division, characteristics, location, gate, nature, appearance of objects, measure, the actual lamp, the method of practicing it, and corresponding examples. First, the essence is: the bindu is surrounded by a round halo of five lights, self-luminous, and the color is clear. From the Blazing Lamp: The lamp of the empty bindu is the place of trust for all phenomena. Whoever knows this enjoys the body of the bindu and attains the field of practice of habitual patterns. Therefore, the essence of this is: unique, minute, free from elaboration, free from the boundary of emptiness, greatly self-luminous, the very nature of self-luminous equality, non-conceptual, free from elaboration, abiding in a round shape, uncreated, self-empowered, the basis complete. Therefore, red, self-luminous, primordially pure, without impurity.

Since it is non-existent and primordially pure, I am separated from bondage and afflictions. Self-luminous by its own nature, empty in essence. This is regarded as its essence. Thus it is said. Secondly, the definition is: The self-abiding light sphere does not change, therefore it is called "Thig (藏文,梵文:bindu,梵文罗马拟音:bindu,汉语字面意思:明点)". It spreads extensively in the realm, therefore it is called "Le (藏文,梵文:prabhā,梵文罗马拟音:prabhā,汉语字面意思:光)". Objects are not identifiable, therefore it is emptiness. The self-light of emptiness shines with five lights, therefore it is the lamp. It says in that itself: Thig is the unchanging straightness, from the beginning it is free from fabrication. Le is the great expanse, all appearances are perfected in their own place. Emptiness is the grasping of objects, it blocks the minds that are attached to the realm. By the great emptiness of self-nature, in clarity, self-attachment does not appear. The lamp makes the five lights appear, with self-recognition and awareness. These are the definite words. As it is said. In the Garland of Pearls: For example, like the colors of a peacock's feathers, Thig has no change. Le is pervasive and appears in the realm. Emptiness means that objects have no characteristics. The lamp makes the darkness appear. Thus it is said. Thirdly, the divisions are five: The Thigle of the abiding ground. In the jewel box of wisdom in the heart, it is the intersection of all samsara and nirvana, or the source, or the place of exhaustion. The Thigle of the body's abiding channels. In the four great special channels, it abides in the self-liberation and primordial liberation of pleasure and pain because of its self-luminosity. The Thigle of the conventional cause. In the Romas and so on, it abides as the sustainer of the body's essence. The Thigle of ultimate non-elaboration. Since awareness is pure from the beginning, it abides in the understanding of the exhaustion of the realm of awareness. The Thigle of the self-arisen fruit. Since it appears manifestly to the senses, day and night light merge, and it engages in the vast and completely liberated intention of the Buddhas. From the Blazing Lamp: The divisions themselves are five aspects. The Thigle of the ground-abiding self-awareness, unifies samsara and nirvana into one. The Thigle of the body-abiding channels, unifies happiness and suffering into one. The Thigle of the conventional cause, is the cause and condition for generating the aggregates and mind, unifies the aggregates, elements, etc. The Thigle of ultimate non-elaboration, unifies the realm and awareness into one. The Thigle of the self-arisen fruit, the intentions of all Buddhas, merge into the realm free from effort and accomplishment. All these are its divisions, from the unchanging Thigle of emptiness, the realm of appearances has five aspects, one.
