Extinction. This is also a precious gem of merit. Such is the merit of appearance: In the impure cycle of existence, the gate of self-entry. In the pure gate of the essence of reality, it dissolves in a way that does not go away. For example, the ropes of thorn bushes, etc., are pressed down and gather themselves in the center. The realm of the senses is extinguished. This is the precious gem of merit. Thus, the perfection of merit is the gate of pure wisdom itself. By self-dissolving into the essence of reality, body and wisdom are extinguished. Just as a lion occupies a snow mountain, it gains irreversible, fearless confidence. This is also a precious gem of merit. Thus, the way merit arises, the place of wisdom abiding in one place, is found without searching, and it is naturally that way from the beginning. Thus it is said. This principle is the difficult point of the Secret Essence, although it is clearly stated in the tantras and instructions, but in Tibet, there has never been anyone who could ask about it before. Therefore, I have analyzed and shown it very clearly, and if anyone can understand this key point in the future, they should know it is due to the power of this text. Secondly, there are three ways in which Samantabhadra is liberated: the way of liberation at the moment of seeing the ground appearance, the way of abiding in the dharmadhatu after liberation, and the way of performing the benefit of others from it. The first is: From the initial dharmadhatu, the inner sound arises outward, and as soon as compassion and awareness arise as companions of self-ignorance, when it looks towards the ground appearance, at the moment of realizing that it is one's own appearance, ignorance is self-purified, and the way the ground appearance spontaneously arises dissolves, abiding in the place of primordial purity. That is also distinguishing self-appearance in an instant, becoming a Buddha in an instant, and the teacher who appeared earlier comes from the "Summary": Thus, the beginning and end of samsara and nirvana, the Buddha has not been deluded, the sovereign who arises from the ground, knows that self-appearance has no self-nature, and the thoughts of discrimination, etc., have not been lost outward, and the movement is self-determined. Thus it is said. And in the "Intent Oral Instruction Tantra" it says: At that time, the six dharmas of Samantabhadra, destroy the six ignorances of the ground consciousness, in just an instant, the mind is empty, only awareness arises, awareness diminishes and dissipates, in an instant it is bright, darkness dissipates and clears, in an instant it arises, darkness disappears, free from addition and subtraction, ignorance is purified, unchanging, like the sky. That is also Vajrasattva listening, delusion and ignorance are overturned and destroyed, and no prophecy is made.

English
Self dissolves into emptiness. With the wisdom that distinguishes between matter and awareness, one meets the ground. Therefore, the darkness of ignorance is dispelled, like the sun rising on Mount Potala. As it says in the Tantra of the Spontaneous Bliss Wheel: From just a glimpse, awareness arises, becoming vividly clear, free from addition and subtraction. As it says in the Magical Illusion: In a single instant, distinctions are made; in a single instant, complete enlightenment is attained. It is said that Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) Buddha attained enlightenment from the ground without performing even a speck of virtue. However, upon analysis, recognizing one's own nature is the ocean of immaculate, self-born virtue. The accumulation of Ati Yoga is complete, and the unpredicted ignorance is dispelled, destroying the obscurations at the very beginning. Knowing through self-appearance, ignorance is dispelled. Because it is dispelled, all afflictions are dispelled, arising from the dispelling of ignorance. At that moment, the qualities of one's own state manifest, and one becomes enlightened in body and wisdom. To say one is liberated from the ground is crude. When the ground appears as the ground's appearance, one is liberated, so one is liberated in the instant that transcends the ground. Where is one liberated? To say one is liberated on the ground is also crude; one is liberated in the realm of ultimate spontaneous accomplishment. If one were truly liberated on the ground, one would also revert, because the ground is posited from the aspect of being able to produce confusion, being the ground of samsara and nirvana. The place of liberation itself is the beginning. If you ask, is the ground not the beginning? It is said to be without beginning in terms of reality, not the first ground. In short, when one recognizes one's own nature, the qualities of the dharmadhatu are perfected, and because one is free from obscurations, it is called liberation in the fruition. Therefore, the qualities such as body and wisdom, to the extent that they abide as a blueprint, are called the qualities of the dharmadhatu, existing in awareness but not yet manifest. At the time of perfection, it is called the qualities of the Buddha, because ignorance is dispelled, and by the power of dispelling, the qualities that one possesses are manifested and increased. Alternatively, one acknowledges the qualities of the spontaneously accomplished Buddha of the ground and the qualities of the manifestly realized Buddha of the fruition. Thus, the enlightenment of Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) also has six aspects: transcending the ground, appearing in one's own nature, distinguishing, liberating upon distinguishing, not coming from elsewhere, and abiding in one's own place. These are also the fruit not born from a cause, not born from the mind.
