Regarding the way to explain the letters of Nirvana and the way to explain the letters of Samsara. The letters of Nirvana are, explaining the attachments and strokes. The impure letters of Samsara are, explaining the first letter 'Ma'. In this way, through the two ways of explanation, the meaning of all letters can be understood. Fourth, explaining the position and enjoyment of letters: When all attachments and strokes are complete, the first root letter 'Ma' is explained as the part of Samsara. From then on, any attachment that appears is the position of Nirvana. Therefore, when pronouncing, that attachment should also be combined with 'Ma' and read together. This is the nature of the letter and the position of attachments, strokes, Samsara, and Nirvana. Furthermore, in the enjoyment of the letter of the mother vowel 'Ma', various attachments and strokes appear. Among them, among the attachments above the mother vowel 'Ma', Gi Gu (གི་གུ) is the letter of light. The vertical line is the path. Na Ro (ན་རོ) is the Dharmadhatu. The head mark (ཀླད་ཀོར) is the letter of Dharmata. In this way, the four above are called the letters of the lamp, just like four lamps appear from the eyes of the head above the body. The attachments below are the base letters. Ya Tag (ཡ་བཏགས) is the letter of pervasion. Ra Tag (ར་བཏགས) is the letter of manifestation. Shab Kyu (ཞབས་ཀྱུ) is the letter of compassion. These are also self-arisen. The position and enjoyment of letters should also be known to all in this way. Among them, the attachments and strokes are, Gi Gu (གི་གུ) is explained as the letter of light. The vertical line is explained as the letter of the path. Na Ro (ན་རོ) is explained as the letter of the Dharmadhatu. The head mark (ཀླད་ཀོར) is explained as the letter of Dharmata. These are the four letters above, which are considered to be the letters of the lamp. Shab Kyu (ཞབས་ཀྱུ) is explained as the letter of compassion. Ya Tag (ཡ་བཏགས) is explained as the letter of pervasion. Ra Tag (ར་བཏགས) is explained as the letter of manifestation. Among them, whatever attachment appears, it should be explained in conjunction with the attachment. That is to say, such a collection of letters is a symbol, for example, someone's many letters, like many threads tied to many fingers. Its meaning is to symbolize the Dharma base, path, fruit, Dharmadhatu, and wisdom of Samsara and Nirvana, and so on. Fifth, indicating the ways of expressing these is divided into two: generally indicating the position and way of expression, and separately explaining the way of expressing close sounds. The first is divided into two: pointing out the common position, and explaining the order of length and weight. The first is: In any Tantra, the mantra stacking or single of letters

No matter what happens, the reversed letters should be placed at the root of any position. For any reversed letters that are attached to it, all the reversed letters should have the tip of the tongue touching the palate, and then be recited like reciting a letter without a reversed letter, such as "Ta la ta" and so on. The limbs should also be recited in a way that is appropriate to the mother letter. That is, all those with the same pronunciation and the same kind should be combined and recited, such as "kka", or like "kāu". Those that are different should be recited separately, such as "ghdza" and so on. These are also recorded in Rigpa Rangdrol (Awareness Autoliberation), the mantra of letters is like this: Reversed letters, vowels, and limbs, whatever they are, should be recited here, and whatever is appropriate for what should be recited with it. The reversed letter is attached and manifested, the mother letter itself is placed separately. The limb is the letter of nirvana, the vowel is only samsara. Likewise, mantras and letters, whatever is appropriate for what should be recited with it. So it is said. Moreover, in Rangshar (Self-Arisen) it is said that the mother letter is unchanging, and the vowels and limbs are the letters of nirvana. In Rangdrol (Self-Liberation), the mother letter remains unchanged, the vowels are samsara, and the limbs are nirvana, these two statements are not contradictory, because they are intended to be understood according to different situations. When in samsara, when explaining that sentient beings are pervaded by the essence of Buddhahood, because sentient beings are the basis, the mother letter of the letter is considered to be samsara, and the vowels and limbs are understood as nirvana. When explaining the way of separation and completeness of samsara and nirvana in Gshis Rigpa (Fundamental Awareness), the mother letter represents wisdom, so it remains unchanged, the vowels are explained as samsara, and the limbs are considered to be the dharma of nirvana. By nature, it can be combined with anything, because it is a conventional saying. That is, when representing impure samsara, the root is considered to be one's own mind, and the vowels and limbs are explained as karma and afflictions that exist on it, as well as the aggregates, elements, sources, elements, and the apprehended and the apprehender, and so on. When explaining pure nirvana, the mother letter is self-born wisdom, and the vowels and limbs are explained as the three bodies, the five wisdoms, the five lights, and the ten powers, and so on. When both samsara and nirvana are explained from one basis, the mother letter is wisdom, and the vowels and limbs are the dharma of samsara and nirvana. Similarly, when explaining the basis, the mother letter is wisdom, and the vowels and limbs are explained as essence, nature, compassion, and the five winds, and so on.
