拉。那时，依靠上方的光芒，一切都显得通透，五根、肢体、颜色和生殖器等都极其美丽，但没有男性和女性的区别。那时，天空中显现出六十四万颗光芒之星，这是圆满大法的六十四万种法类将要出现的先兆。其中，美丽而耀眼的十七颗星，是无上瑜伽部的十七部续将要出现的征兆。之后，那位导师以遍知一切的慧眼观察教法和所化众生，宣说了所有教法中最古老的《声续根本大续》。在这个时期，众生的寿命是不可估量的，身体有三十二肘高，之后逐渐缩短。之后，众生也大量繁衍，寿命也逐渐缩短，身体的光芒等也消失了，福德也减少了，由于往昔业力的影响，潜在的烦恼生起，导致威严和光彩衰退。在这个时期，东方胜身洲也从天人繁衍出人类，化生的人也大量增加。之后，北方俱卢洲也没有人类繁衍，西方牛货洲也没有人类繁衍。因此，人类的次第最初出现在赡部洲，所以被称为业力之地。之后，那些众生沉溺于喜乐，寿命也达到百亿年，那时，地方的名字叫做娑婆世界。那时，那些众生也从光蛋中出生，光芒有七个人高，所以在天空中行走，食物是精华，没有衣服赤身裸体，所以也有清洗污垢的美好池塘。他们也自然而然地行持十善。之后，由于往昔业力的力量，寿命也逐渐缩短，光芒和福德也衰退，地方的名字叫做冷热混合光芒堆积之地。那时，地、水、火、风四大元素，热成为热的原因，冷成为冷的原因和条件，一切众生都从树木的汁液中变成冷热湿生。在这个时期，寿命也达到十万年。

At this time, the lifespan of beings was immeasurable, and their bodies were thirty-two cubits tall, and then gradually shortened. After that, beings also multiplied greatly, and lifespans gradually shortened, and the light of the body and so on also disappeared, and merit also decreased, and due to the influence of past karma, latent afflictions arose, leading to a decline in majesty and splendor. At this time, in the eastern Videha continent, humans also propagated from gods, and the number of spontaneously born beings also increased greatly. After that, humans did not propagate in the northern Kuru continent, nor did humans propagate in the western Godaniya continent. Therefore, the order of humans first appeared in Jambudvipa, so it is known as the Land of Karma. After that, those beings indulged in joy and happiness, and their lifespans reached hundreds of millions of years, and at that time, the name of the place was called the Saha World. At that time, those beings were also born from light eggs, and the light was seven human heights, so they walked in the sky, and their food was the essence of the elements, and they were naked without clothes, so there were also good ponds for washing away impurities. They also naturally practiced the ten virtues. After that, due to the power of past karma, lifespans gradually shortened, and light and merit also declined, and the name of the place was called the Land of the Accumulation of Heat and Moisture and Light. At that time, the four elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, heat became the cause of heat, and cold became the cause and condition of cold, and all beings became heat-moisture-born from the sap of trees. At this time, lifespans also reached one hundred thousand years.

那时，人们以树木的果实为食物，身穿上好的树叶为衣裳，每生一个人就长出一棵树。男女的生殖器还没有出现，彼此相见则感到高兴，互相接触则感到快乐。之后，福德逐渐减少，寿命也达到八万岁时，地方的名字叫做“成生胎中显现”。那些众生开始显现出烦恼，业力的作用使得男女的生殖器开始显现。彼此观看、触摸和欢笑的贪欲产生，从胎中出生的众生也越来越多。这时，光是自然显现的，食物和衣服都取自树木，还有如意牛和聪明的马。之后，福德减少，烦恼嗔恨产生，互相残杀的行为使得以前的功德都消失了。观看、欢笑和触摸等行为也越来越多，所有众生都无需四肢着地行走。食物是大地精华般的油脂，味道像蜂蜜，身穿柔软的树棉。这时，光也变得昏暗，不再明亮，容貌和青春也不如以前美丽。之后过了很久，一些人将大地精华随取随用的习惯改变为按日、月、年储存，大家都认为这样做很好并效仿，结果导致大地精华消失。期间发生了多年的饥荒和黑暗。之后，由于众生共同的福德，天空中出现了太阳，不再有远近之分，因此太阳被称为“近处利益者”。之后太阳消失，被称为夜晚。人们祈愿黑暗消散，月亮也像太阳一样出现，因为月亮像太阳的伴侣，所以被称为月亮。那时，月亮在夜晚圆满显现，充满温暖，大多数众生祈愿月亮变得凉爽，于是月亮不再温暖而变得凉爽。又有些人因为月亮过于寒冷而无法忍受，说希望月亮不要再寒冷，于是月亮开始有盈亏变化。那时，无需耕种自然生长的稻米在田里早上收割晚上又生长出来。

Those beings began to manifest afflictions, and the power of karma caused the sexual organs of men and women to begin to appear. Desire arose from looking at each other, touching each other, and laughing, and the number of beings born from the womb also increased. At this time, the light was naturally manifest, food and clothing were taken from trees, and there were also wish-fulfilling cows and intelligent horses. Then, merit decreased, and the affliction of hatred arose, causing the previous virtues to disappear due to the act of killing each other. The acts of looking, laughing, and touching also increased, and all beings walked without touching the ground with their four limbs. Food was the essence of the earth, like oil, with a taste like honey, and they wore soft tree cotton as clothing. At this time, the light also became dim and no longer bright, and appearances and youth were not as beautiful as before. After a long time, some people changed the habit of taking the essence of the earth as they pleased to storing it by day, month, and year. Everyone thought this was a good idea and imitated it, resulting in the disappearance of the essence of the earth. During this time, there were many years of famine and darkness. Then, due to the common merit of beings, the appearance of the sun rising in the sky occurred. There was no longer a distinction between near and far, so the sun was called "Benefactor in the Nearness." Then the sun disappeared and was called night. People prayed for the darkness to dissipate, and the moon appeared like the sun. Because the moon was like the sun's companion, it was called the moon. At that time, the moon appeared fully and warmly at night, and most beings prayed for the moon to become cool, so the moon became cool instead of warm. Some people could not bear the suffering from the extreme cold, saying that they hoped the moon would not be so cold, so the moon began to wax and wane. At that time, rice that grew naturally without plowing would be harvested in the fields in the morning and grow again in the evening.
