Through completely pure merit, the appearance of the body is without inherent existence. Through completely pure accumulation, the great wisdom of the mind engages with omniscience. Thus, at the time of the Dharmakaya, when the place, the realm of Dharma, the object of focus, and the thought are completely pure, the teacher Samantabhadra Buddha, having completely accomplished all of his natural activities, abides. Moreover, upon a single atom, together with countless Buddhas equal to the number of atoms, the manifested reality is the great perfection of inherent nature, the Vajra of Dharmata, which is uncompounded by anyone. At that time, seeing the completely pure realm of activity of Dharmata, he abides with the five perfections. At this time, among the thirty-six activities of the inexhaustible wheel of ornaments of body, speech, and mind, the four outer activities of the body are: unchanging, not coming, not going, and not abiding. The four inner activities are: not appearing, not acting, not scattering, and not gathering. The four secret activities are: clear, complete, surpassing, and open. The four outer activities of speech are: unspeakable, unteachable, invisible, and without the slightest. The four inner activities are: naturally so, transcending that, without an object, and not many. The four secret activities are: Soma, natural, true, and uncreated. The four outer activities of mind are: the Samadhi of stainlessness, the Samadhi of the lion's roar, the Samadhi of courageous conduct, and the Samadhi of the wish-fulfilling jewel's crest. The four inner activities are: the various plays of the victory banner's peak, the garland of lightning, the great wheel, and the Samadhi of blazing light. The four secret activities are: the mudra subduing with power, the great fire of equality, the various Dharmata, and the Samadhi called the self-appearing play of various arrangements. However, these are not activities of doing and being done, but rather they are called activities because they have become a part of the manifestation of the nature and power of qualities. Thereafter, the Sambhogakaya naturally arises, and from the play of the power of the previous appearance and the way compassion arises without ceasing, in the pure and dense realm of Akanishta, the teacher Vairochana, with the hand of the Samadhi of the great snow mountain lake.

From the base, lotus stems arise, and upon the petals and stamens, there are appearances of twenty-five realms stacked upon each other, each with different colors and forms, like reflections of the moon in water. All the layers are like Chinese tiles stacked up and down. In the midst of these, like silk tents spread out, the bodies of the Five Buddha Families appear in countless forms. From below the crossed legs, flows an immeasurable stream of scented water, and sixteen realms are stacked upon each other. Above and below, like stacked jewel umbrellas, and between them, like piles of grain, immeasurable numbers of the Five Buddha Families and others appear. Furthermore, in the space where rays of light emanate from every pore, there are endless and immeasurable numbers of realms and teachers. Thus, in the Sambhogakaya realm, the teachings are the direct speech, self-arisen letters, made by no one, appearing together with the son of all teachings. This is the time when the nature of reality does not change. From the inexhaustible body, speech, and mind of the Sambhogakaya, the thirty-six activities of the wheel of adornment arise spontaneously. The four outer activities of the body are: the body appears without inherent existence, thus purifying what is substantial; with the complete face and hands of wisdom, the body is perfected in its own essence; with the clear face and hands of light, self-appearance is liberated; with the clear face and hands of wisdom, knowledge is perfected. The four inner activities are: the thirty-two major marks appear in the form of light, perfecting the qualities of the body; possessing the eighty minor marks, perfecting the nature of reality; the collection of rays of light radiates, perfecting the special qualities; the face is always serene, perfecting the characteristics of the Sambhogakaya. The four secret activities are: abiding without front or back, perfecting the appearance aspect; when looking from the inside out, the outside is clear, perfecting the qualities of emptiness; when looking from the outside in, the inside is clear, perfecting the qualities of non-duality; the crown abides transparently in all directions, perfecting the qualities of non-abiding and unobstructedness. The four outer activities of speech are: the six naturally arisen letters emanate from the tongue, perfecting the immeasurable activities of the nature of reality.
