The mandala of the body is uninterrupted and vast. The mandala of speech is clear and without conceptualization. The mandala of body, speech, and mind, each possesses its own mandala and retinue. There is no going, no coming, no change. It abides within the mandala of one's own citta. Thus, the great meaning of the mandala is perfected within one's own body. So it is said. Secondly, the symbols representing empowerment, such as the painted colored powder mandala, and the mandala of lines and heaps, are based on the symbolic mandala. When practicing the generation and completion stages, the samadhi mandala is meditated upon as the object of focus. It becomes the basis for the arising of the qualities of the path, and is the mandala of meaning. It is shown as the mandala of definite meaning. Again, it says in the same text: The great image mandala, when performing the supreme empowerment, the mandala is considered to be of two types, said to be peaceful and wrathful. If performing the complete empowerment, then do it in this way. The great peaceful mandala, in the center is a four-spoked wheel. The end is enclosed by a vajra fence. It has precious parapets, and is adorned with a garland of 'za rang tsags'. Likewise, it has doors and door frames. That is the peaceful mandala. The wrathful mandala is like this: In the center is an eight-spoked wheel. The palace is a dark blue triangle. The activities and so forth of these, should be known in sequence. It is considered to be a colored powder mandala. So it is said. Thirdly, the mandala of the pure fruit of self-nature is: Having entered the symbolic colored powder mandala, the meaning samadhi mandala has the meditation and recitation of peaceful and wrathful deities, and the unobstructed completion stage of the dharmata, the meaning of the manifest light mandala is viewed. The four appearances are perfected, and when the youth vase body mandala is manifested, the dharmakaya mandala and the self-manifest sambhogakaya mandala are perfected, spontaneously accomplished in the nature of peaceful and wrathful. Again, it says in the same text: The great self-nature mandala, in the Akanishta dharmadhatu palace, in the center of the central wheel, is the mandala of Vairochana, the retinue of the four families of deities and consorts, the great self-nature mandala is one, on the spokes of the eastern wheel, the Vajrasattva mandala.

It is the peaceful nature, surrounded by the retinue of the four families of Bodhicitta, the second of the great self-existing mandalas. On the spokes of the southern wheel, Ratnasambhava is the center, surrounded by the retinue of the Ratna family, the third of the great self-existing mandalas. On the spokes of the western wheel, Amitabha is the center, surrounded by the retinue of the Padma family, the fourth of the great self-existing mandalas. On the spokes of the northern wheel, Amoghasiddhi is the center, surrounded by the retinue of the Karma family, the fifth of the great self-existing mandalas. It abides in the nature of uncreated perfection, and its manner of abiding is as follows: It possesses a body with a peaceful demeanor, standing and sitting, appearing as father and mother, mudras and samadhi. The doorkeepers, doorkeepers' mothers, and retinue are accompanied by the six Thubpas (Buddhas), and their retinue is inconceivable. Their hand implements are also different, and the mudras, songs, and dances are also transformed, offering to the principal father with sounds and various musical instruments. The great self-existing mandala is such that all the gods and goddesses also have a majestic posture. All have fivefold rays of light, arising from themselves and enjoying themselves. They also have fivefold headdresses, armlets and necklaces, bracelets and anklets, neck ornaments and ribbons. Thus, the form of adornment, with a body possessing marks and signs, holds its own characteristics without being mixed. The center is blue, the east is white, the south is yellow, the west is red, and the north is green and complete. The colors of the families are also the same. This is the self-existing mandala. On the headdress of each peaceful deity, the fivefold groups of wrathful deities are complete. The manner of their completion is as follows: In the headdress of Vairochana, Buddha Heruka is considered the main deity. Vajra Heruka in the east, Ratna Heruka in the south, Padma Heruka in the west, Karma Heruka in the north. Thus, on the headdress of the peaceful deities, there are fivefold wrathful deity headdresses, which is the great self-existing mandala. The manner of abiding of the wrathful deities is with a stretched posture and a striking posture, a majestic posture and a fierce one, wrathful and baring their fangs, with wrinkles flowing like lightning, like the sound of thunder.
