One's own country! For those with conceptualization, it is Bodhisattva. For the three middling individuals, what is taught is, for the extremely inferior, it is action, and for the inferior, it is practice. For those with consciousness, it is Yoga itself. For the three great individuals with sequential stages, for those with vast minds, it is the generation stage, and for those with essential minds, it is the completion stage. For the supremely secret and most excellent, it is the Great Perfection. Thus it is said. The exceedingly vast Great Vehicle is such that all teachings are contained within the three baskets. Mantras are the Great Abhidharma, so the Sutra Pitaka, the Vinaya Pitaka, and the Abhidharma Pitaka, these three equally amount to twenty-one thousand one hundred. The aggregates of Dharma are eighty-four thousand. If one were to further divide from that, each antidote for subduing the conceptual aggregates of sentient beings, depending on each, is vast, numerous, inconceivable, and beyond expression. Here, among the nine vehicles that are established, first, in explaining the Hearer Vehicle, there are five aspects. The essence is the mind that desires to liberate oneself alone from samsara, which becomes the means to realize the selflessness of the individual. The definition is that having listened to the Dharma from the teacher, one proclaims it to others, and because one relies on the teacher to accomplish the enlightenment of the final existence, it is the Hearer. The purpose is to definitely liberate from samsara. The result is the attainment of the Arhatship with remainder and without remainder. The divisions are the Sutra School and the Vaibhashika School. The Vaibhashika School is such that the coarse conventional truth appears as a single collection like a yak's tail and fresh grass, but in the ultimate truth, it is considered to be particulate atoms with divisions. The continuum of knowledge is conventional, and the moment is ultimately indivisible, like water in a vase. From the aggregates, elements, and sources, the coarse appearance is considered to be minute particles surrounding with intervals. Although they accept the selflessness of the individual, they accept the self of phenomena, that minute particles and moments exist. That also, through the Dharma gathered by the four truths, knowing cause and effect, what to abandon and what to adopt, the four aspects of cause, origin, cessation, and condition as the object of focus. The aspects of knowledge are that suffering is to be known, origin is to be abandoned, the path is to be cultivated, and cessation is to be attained, and in the manner of knowing, and with the aspects of suffering being what is to be abandoned, emptiness, and selflessness, the path, reasoning, cultivation, and definite liberation, cessation, peace, excellence, and cultivating in the manner of selflessness.

Sa. Having abandoned the four hundred and fourteen things to be abandoned by the seeing and meditation of the three realms, one wishes to attain the supreme wisdom of knowing the exhaustion and knowing the non-arising, and thus be liberated. The Sutra School asserts that by understanding the four truths as the objects to be focused on with twelve types of knowledge, eighty-eight subtle defilements are abandoned, and one wishes to realize the supreme wisdom. This is similar to the previously mentioned selflessness of the individual. On top of that, the realm of phenomena is superior in one aspect, namely, the five bases of knowable objects, which are part-containing atoms, are obstructed by the chief. The chief is the basis of mind, the retinue is the basis arising from mind, the basis of non-associated compositional factors, the basis of unconditioned permanence, and the basis of appearance, which is form. By realizing the nature of these five, the partless atom is not obstructed. Half of the realm of phenomena, namely, the coarse-appearing atoms of the object of grasping, which are composed of non-adhering tactile atoms, is also realized as partless, and is therefore superior to the previous one. Since it does not exist in terms of meaning, it is similar to not accepting atoms. Both of these, when diligently practicing the path, do so in the order of the arising of the five paths. As a common antidote to the three poisons, one meditates on selflessness and illusion. As specific antidotes, for desire, one meditates on the eight impure substances and skeletons; for hatred, one meditates on loving-kindness; for delusion, one meditates on dependent origination in forward and reverse order; and as an antidote to conceptual thought, one meditates on counting and measuring the exhaling and inhaling of breath. When meditating on selflessness, one also meditates on the meaning of the cessation of object and subject, without focusing on anything. When sinking, as an antidote to the delusion of dullness, one focuses the mind on a butter lamp burning on the crown of the head. By doing so, some with dull and middling faculties who are diligent will attain the fruit in that very life, while some with sharp faculties and Bodhisattvas will complete the five paths in one sitting, relying on the basis of having accumulated much merit from the previous five paths, and thus attain liberation. That is to say, from the perspective of the Hearer's Vehicle, they believe that through the three capacities of small, medium, and great, the three enlightenments of Hearer, Solitary Realizer, and Buddha can be achieved, but they do not accept the Great Vehicle and Mantra paths. For Hearers and Solitary Realizers, the white-appearing grounds, etc., are inferior.
