That is to say, all the essentials are contained in fortune and power. Some also say that fortune and power must be on the top of Mount Meru. Similarly, countless worldly views are contained in two essentials: permanence and annihilation. Countless worldly views arise from these. Thus, all teachings are contained in four views: eternalism, semi-eternalism, border view, and nihilism. Eternalism refers to asserting that things are permanently constant. Semi-eternalism refers to asserting that things are both constant and not constant. Border view refers to considering things to be half constant and half annihilated. Nihilism refers to asserting that things are completely annihilated. This itself is also contained in the two views of permanence and annihilation. As mentioned before: All these wrong views can be summarized into four types: eternalism, semi-eternalism, border view, and nihilism. The explanation is as follows: Eternalism is permanently constant; semi-eternalism is half constant and half annihilated; nihilism refers to complete annihilation; border view refers to the annihilation of consequences. Therefore, three hundred and sixty views can be summarized into four types, and these four types can be further summarized into two types: permanence and annihilation. The necessity of these teachings lies in recognizing the wrong path so as not to go astray. As stated in the sutra: "Son of good family, the reason I have summarized and explained so many worldly views is to prevent you from going astray." The doctrines of the outsiders have been explained. Second, the extensive division of the transcendent vehicle is divided into three parts: the way to transcend outsiders, the general exposition of categories, and the detailed explanation of differences. First, it transcends outsiders by acknowledging the four seals of Dharma and taking refuge in the Three Jewels, because these are not present in the path of outsiders. The four seals are: all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all contaminated phenomena are suffering, all phenomena are empty and without self, and nirvana is peace. The second part is divided into five points: nature, definition, classification, necessity, and result. The nature of the transcendent vehicle is: any excellent method that can liberate beings from samsara. The definition is: anyone who enters this path will find happiness. As stated in the Compendium:

Eliminating all sorrows, it is the supreme quality that accomplishes joy, happiness, and bliss. This vehicle is like the sky, an immeasurable great mansion. Thus it is. In terms of classification, there are two: the Lesser Vehicle and the Greater Vehicle, or the three vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, or it is inconceivable depending on the minds of those to be tamed. As it says in the Lankavatara Sutra: As long as the mind arises, there is no end to the limits of the vehicle. Thus it is. The necessity is that it has the necessity of accomplishing both temporary and ultimate benefits. The result is that one is sure to emerge from the three realms and attain liberation. Third, explaining the distinctions in detail: From "Wisdom's Self-Arising" it says: The classification of vehicles is as follows: There are the Sutra and the Extensive Great, and the Extremely Extensive Great. The Extremely Extensive Great is eighty-four thousand inconceivable. Vast and numerous is the Great Vehicle, inconceivable and immeasurable, inexpressible and inconceivable is the Great Vehicle. The Extensive Great is as follows: It is desired to be divided into nine types. Namely, Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas as well. Kriya (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) and Upa (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), and the Vehicle of Yoga as well. Maha Anu Yoga (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), and the Great Perfection Ati as well. Thus, it is said to be nine types, it is the great Dharma of the Buddha's teachings. The meaning of what was said is determined as follows: In general, although the categories of the Buddha's teachings are endless, if they are only condensed into a vehicle, then the vehicle can be briefly summarized as the two, Lesser and Greater Vehicles, or the Vehicle of Cause and the Vehicle of Result Vajra. If explained extensively, for the three of lower faculties, there are the three vehicles of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas; for the three of medium faculties, there are the three of Kriya, Upa, and Yoga; for the three of sharp faculties, there are the three of Maha, Anu, and Ati. As it says in the Ati Great Adornment: The teachings that I have taught, are according to the order of beings' minds, with the difference of large and small, taught in the manner of two orders. Each's own view and retention. Each itself is two orders, inverted and correct views. By inverted conceptualization, one abides in samsara, the correct is three orders, for those with small faculties and great faculties, and those with medium faculties as well, it is taught in the manner of three orders. The order of small faculties has three types, the Dharma that is in accordance with its mind, that which is tainted by conceptualization is the Hearer. For those with concepts
