Detailed classification of tenets. Extensive determination of the categories of vehicles: From the Rigpa Rangshar Chenpo Tantra: "Alas! Secret Vajra Holder, my vehicle, though inconceivable, is summarized into two ways of speaking: samsara and nirvana." Here, the meaning of what was said has two aspects: worldly vehicles and vehicles that transcend the world. The first also has five aspects: the nature of the vehicle, its definition, its divisions, its purpose, and its result. The nature is any category of mental activity that does not surpass samsara, which aims at the result to be obtained and exists in the meaning of the words that define the category. The definition is: it is that which is joined and established with worldly goodness alone. The divisions are: two vehicles, the vehicle of maintaining the status quo and the vehicle of reversal. The purpose is: to accomplish one's own result. The result is: when one's own result is manifested by that method. Among these, the vehicle of gods and humans that maintains the status quo is: by accumulating meritorious actions such as firmly abiding in the ten virtues and the sojong, it is a method for accomplishing the happiness of gods and humans in the future. Since it becomes a basis for whatever accomplishment one engages in, it is called the vehicle of maintaining the status quo. From the Vajrasattva Mayajala Great Tantra: "The earliest of the vehicles is the vehicle of gods and humans." The reversed vehicle is: From the Rangshar: "The reversed vehicle is as follows: it asserts three hundred and sixty aggregates of the world." Therefore, this has two aspects: generally indicating the nature of permanence and annihilation, and specifically explaining its categories. The first has two aspects: viewing as permanent and viewing as annihilation. The first is that although there are many different assertions according to the systems of the non-Buddhists, since the Samkhya school, which asserts a permanent cause, is the root of all views, it is explained first: The nature of the equal proportion of the three components of particle, darkness, and vigor is called self, and it exists in the heart of all sentient beings, having a form that corresponds to the size of the body. For large beings, it is the size of a thumb; for small beings, from the size of a pea pod to a mustard seed, and so on. Moreover, it is white, oily, round, indestructible and unbreakable, and the self that no one can see exists in a hidden way. Now, particle, darkness, and vigor, that is, the equal proportion of the three components of desire, hatred, and delusion

At that time. Its own nature is realized by itself, it is an invisible nature. Later, when liberation is attained, like a white umbrella spread all over the heavens, they believe that liberation will appear as having color and shape. Now, if one does not understand its nature, the unwavering essence, being free from action, being the eater of objects of consciousness, the constantly existing nature, one will wander in samsara. If one understands and does not stray from its essence, one can be liberated. And in this life, if one makes good use of offerings and generosity, in the next life one will be born in a place of power, possessing perfect retinue and enjoyment, so they believe. From this, many different schools have branched out. As stated in the *Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life*: "The eater is permanent and real, not the agent self, possessing virtues and being inactive, is what the Samkhya school considers. Relying slightly on their distinctions, various non-Buddhist schools have flourished." The nihilists are the materialists. They believe that apart from the happiness and suffering experienced in the present, there is no past or future life, no cause and effect of karma, no liberation, and nothing else. This school is further divided into those who assert the cessation of cause and those who assert the cessation of effect. The first is that some, such as the naked ascetics and the son of Nigrantha, believe that the previous mind is not the present mind, because the four elements have a naturally existing consciousness. That consciousness is enveloped by the elements and is invisible. When it encounters conditions such as heat and moisture, the latent natural consciousness awakens, and a new mind enters a new body, thus forming a sentient being. Moreover, because the earth has a latent natural consciousness, it produces plants and forests, and so on. Because water has it, it produces moisture, movement, and sound. Because fire has it, it burns and incinerates. Because wind has it, it produces movement and support. Therefore, trees, stones, and coarse objects all have consciousness. If they collide with each other, they will make a sound, and if thrown, they will move. Some trees shrink their leaves at night and expand during the day, and if the bark is peeled off, they will dry out and then regenerate, and so on. Therefore, if beings have karma and consciousness from previous lives, then trees and so on should also have previous lives, but this is not the case, they arise suddenly, as a result of the present aggregation.
