In Guhyasamaja, it is called the indestructible bindu; in Chakrasamvara, it is called the immutable bindu. As stated in the root tantra: "The single bindu that constantly abides in the heart, is immutable. For the being who meditates on it, wisdom will surely arise." This is how it is taught. Secondly, there are two types of bindu of the path. As stated in the "Union of Sun and Moon Tantra": "The bindu of the path of appearance is twofold: the bindu of conventional cause and the bindu of abiding ultimate truth." The first has already been extensively explained, but to explain it briefly, as stated in that same tantra: "The bindu of conventional cause abides within the channels of all sentient beings, appearing as the father's cause and the mother's condition." That is, the essence of the elements gathers to produce the mother's red bindu; the essence of all bodhicitta gathers to produce the father's white bindu. Therefore, the gathering of the elements matures into the physical body; the gathering of bodhicitta matures into memory, thought, feeling, and awareness. Furthermore, for those born miraculously, from eggs, or from moisture, the seed of the gathering of the elements and the seed of the gathering of bodhicitta are naturally complete, and from this, birth is taken. Thus, for all sentient beings, the white and red bindus that gather the body naturally abide. Furthermore, the seed of the elements in males is enveloped by the nature of the elements, so it does not appear. The seed of bodhicitta in females does not appear because the basis does not change. Therefore, the bliss of females can be meditated upon, but merely meditating on the bindu and wind does not lead to liberation. Thus, the two seeds serve as the basis of the aggregates, and the life-sustaining actions of male beings are also performed by these two. The enemies of the elements themselves act suddenly. When the elements gradually exhaust their strength, it is caused by the movement of these two from their place of abiding. That is, the bindu and the seed of the elements in males are distinct. The seed is the initial cause, the present basis, and ultimately, it acts as the life-sustaining action by moving. The essence of the (ཧཾ,ham, seed syllable) at the top of the right channel, the crown of the head, is not visible. The essence of the elements in females is the lower end of the single channel, the secret place of the dakini.

In the center of the wheel, it exists in the form of A (Tibetan: ཨ), so it is invisible. It is also the support upon which the bindu truly descends. These two act as the seed of the bindu, and are called the seed that gathers the essence of arising. It is very important to distinguish the difference between these two. Second, the truly abiding bindu is the five lights of the bright channels in the heart, and the radiance that shines outward from them, as stated in the "Union of Sun and Moon." There are two kinds of truly abiding bindu: The self-abiding bindu and the bindu that arises from the habituation of the individual. The self-abiding bindu is: the bindu that gathers the essence of light in the hearts of all sentient beings, like a ball of five-colored threads interwoven, or like the eye of a fish, or like the eye sleeping in a sparrow's nest, or like the eye of a dakini's mind moving, sometimes moving and abiding in the channels. The bindu that arises from the habituation of the individual is: first, it appears as a cloth of light; second, it abides in the rays of light; and third, it appears as a circle of bindu. The bindu in the heart appears as five colors, so it is like a ball of five-colored threads interwoven. The size is like the eye of a fish. The degree of light is like the eye sleeping in a sparrow's nest. The degree of clarity is like the eye of a dakini's mind moving. Sometimes, propelled by the wind of wisdom, it moves and abides in all the transparent, glass-like channels. The bindu that arises from habituation, through practice, will give rise to the appearance of true wisdom, and the appearance of purity that is only a part of wisdom. Starting from the purification of one part of the wisdom that grasps at characteristics, in the realm of the root consciousness, first it appears as a cloth of light, and then from it will appear fragments, incompleteness, vagueness, and flickering. Second, it appears as rays of light, and from it will appear fineness, movement, flickering, wavering, and burning. Third, it appears as a circle of bindu. From it will appear standing upright and radiating light, etc. Third, there are three kinds of spontaneously ripening bindu, as stated in the "Union of Sun and Moon." There are three kinds of spontaneously ripening bindu: the bindu of ripening light, the bindu of ripening wisdom, and the bindu of ripening awareness. First, the ripening of light is:
