Ah! Accumulation of habitual patterns is like a pool. The Dharmakaya is free from all habitual patterns. From the aggregation of mind and mental factors, sentient beings' Alaya-vijnana appears in many forms. Since the Dharmakaya is free from mind and so on, various forms appear without a body. Thus it is said. Moreover, the Alaya-vijnana is the place of the mind, and the Dharmakaya is the place of wisdom. As it is said in the Tantra of the Six Spaces of Kuntuzangpo: "O Great Bodhisattva, the place of the mind is the Alaya-vijnana. Why is that? Because the Alaya-vijnana gathers all objects of thought and is known by the mind. The place of wisdom is the Dharmakaya. Why is that? Because the Dharmakaya does not possess any memory or conceptualization, and there is no consciousness that grasps different objects." Thus it is said. Among them, some with pride of achievement consider the Alaya-vijnana to be the Dharmakaya. Regarding this, even in common treatises, the Alaya-vijnana is considered the basis of all that is pure and impure. The Dharmakaya, among the pure, is also considered the stainless Tathagatagarbha. In some tantras, it is also considered that when the Alaya-vijnana is transformed, the pure aspect is the wisdom of Dharmadhatu and the Svabhavikakaya. The Alaya-vijnana is the basis of all, and it is also the basis of Nirvana. Thus it is said. The transformation of the Alaya-vijnana is the wisdom of Dharmadhatu and the Svabhavikakaya. Thus it is said, and among the different, it is also said to be substantially contradictory. There is harm in this. If the Alaya-vijnana is the Dharmakaya, then the Dharmakaya would become a defiled body, and just as the Alaya-vijnana creates the illusion of vessel and content, the Dharmakaya would also create illusion. If one accepts this, then there would be the fault of becoming a sentient being again after becoming a Buddha, and so on. Harm is established by reasoning, and harm is also established by the supreme scriptures. As it is said in the Mirror of the Mind of Kuntuzangpo: "Considering the Alaya-vijnana to be the Dharmakaya is deviating from me." Thus it is said. In Rigpa Rangshar it says: "Some consider the Alaya-vijnana to be the Dharmakaya. In order to answer that (view), it is proclaimed that the nature of the Alaya-vijnana is like this." Then, he answers: "Because it perfects all, it is the Alaya-vijnana." Then, refuting with a question: "There is reason for the Buddha to change. Because the Alaya-vijnana manifests in various ways, because all is perfected from it, there is reason for sentient beings to be in the Buddha. Why is all perfected? Or say,

It will become a place-holder. Why do various things appear? Sometimes it becomes a Buddha, sometimes it becomes a sentient being. Why is there alternating establishment? Then he retorted and said: Then does the Alaya consciousness not exist? Then he answered the question: The Alaya consciousness clings to conceptual thoughts, and is deceived by various confused knowledge. The Alaya consciousness is an object of ignorance. So it is said. Therefore, it is important to distinguish between Alaya consciousness and Dharmakaya. In the Klong Drugpa it says: Therefore, if you do not distinguish between Alaya consciousness and Dharmakaya, it is like clinging to one object as different knowledge, and you cannot show the meaning of each. The example of these two is like the shape of the sea and the boat. The pure awareness of Dharmakaya is like a clear sea without dirt. It is not established anywhere, but the opportunity to appear anywhere is not hindered. The original basis is naturally pure, and it is free from sudden dirt. Therefore, what occupies a firm position in that space is the part that has both purity. The Alaya consciousness is like a boat that does not enter the sea. When it is confused from the original space, it is the support of all fundamental ignorance, and the pervader, and the boat that exists as its own nature, is filled with many confused people such as mind and mental factors, karma and habits. In "Self-Appearance" it says: The example of Alaya consciousness and Dharmakaya is like the way of the sea and the boat, which arises naturally, like the way of sleeping and waking up, because there is a difference in the root consciousness. That is to say, the undefiled awareness is the nature of Dharmakaya, and it is not something to be abandoned at any time, and it exists as the basis of ultimate liberation. Alaya consciousness is like sleep, it is the support of all confused dream appearances, so it must be awakened from it, so the difference is very big. That is to say, although sleep and dreams need to be abandoned, one's own awareness does not need to be abandoned, so Dharmakaya is the basis for realization, and it becomes the object of habituation in its state, and it is recognized as the place of fruit liberation. Alaya consciousness and the Dharma that depends on it should be recognized as dirt that needs to be purified. Second, the detailed explanation is divided into two: the detailed explanation of Alaya consciousness and Dharmakaya. First, in the "Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way" it says: The key points of Alaya consciousness and Dharmakaya, of which Alaya consciousness is briefly explained, is the root of Dharma and non-Dharma, including nature, definition and classification. The nature is the container of all habits, classification
