Thus it is said. Third, the divisions are threefold: From the ground, the lamp of the pure realm of reality dwells luminously within the citta (Tibetan: ཙིཏྟ, Sanskrit Devanagari: चित्त, Sanskrit Romanization: citta, Chinese literal meaning: mind), as the spontaneously accomplished body of wisdom and light. From the path, the lamp of the pure realm of reality, surrounded by a fence of five circles, gathers the essence of the bindu with lotus petals in the center. From the fruition, the lamp of the pure realm of reality holds the lineage captive, namely the net of five lights and the half-net, and brocade patterns, and so on. Furthermore, from the blazing lamp, there are three kinds of divisions: From the ground, the pure realm of reality holds the wisdom of awareness as the body. From the path, the realm of reality gathers the essence of the bindu of awareness. From the realm, the realm of reality holds the lineage captive. All these are its divisions. Thus it is said. Fourth, the nature is: Abiding in its own original purity, when awareness is placed within the enclosure of the realm of reality, the transparent understanding of equality naturally descends, and one spontaneously settles into the great ease of contemplation. From the appearance of spontaneously present primordial sound, various appearances such as brocade tents appear in the sky. This is the nature of the inseparability of the view of original purity and spontaneous presence. As it says: Since the appearance of nature is unceasing, all thoughts and memories are exhausted, appearances are self-purified in the realm of reality, and in the non-conceptual awareness, knowing the immovability of equality, in the realm of equality of all things, the innate conceptualizations are exhausted, abiding in the realm of self-purified nature. Since speech and appearance are inseparable, without inner or outer, in the realm of reality, one abides in a state of great ease. Thus it is said. Fifth, the characteristic is: The outer realm of light is empty, clear, and transparent, and the inner realm of self-awareness is originally pure and transparent. As it says: Being transparent without inner or outer, being unobscured and without stain, being originally great original purity, being completely pure, the characteristic of the realm of reality is originally present. Without this, there is no object of awareness, therefore the rain of unceasing appearance is the lamp of the realm of reality. Thus it is said. Sixth, the method of practice is: Distinguishing between samsara and nirvana, relaxing the body and speech, placing awareness within the enclosure of the realm of reality through direct introduction, and practicing without day or night. At first, there is only light like a mirror, then fragments, like a village, and the sky.

From fullness, whatever appears arises from the appearance of the Dharmadhatu (Tibetan: དབྱིངས་), until one sees the Rupakaya and ultimately reaches the exhausted appearance, this is the practice here. As it says: From the separation of samsara and nirvana, place body, speech, and mind in a natural state. Then, examine the appearances of Dharmadhatu and awareness. Once the degree of habituation to this is obtained, the external appearances will increase more and more, gradually obtaining great self-arising habit. Once the degree of stability to this is obtained, the dharmas are exhausted, this is what I have said as a limb of practice. As the 'Self-Arisen' says: The wisdom of seeing and habituation is the wisdom without clinging. The degree of seeing is grasped by this. In the completely pure sky, because the eye faculty is not obstructed, in the center of the sky, the light of the Dharmadhatu is seen by the king of awareness. Once one is habituated to this, it is seeing one's own view. Cherish the thorough habituation to this. Seventh, the measure is: Through practice, from the tip of the nose to the area above the eyebrow, the appearance of a rainbow-like ring formed by indigo light, from the size of a mirror, the size of a fragment, to the appearance of the Rupakaya within the scope of what is seen, this is the measure here. As the 'Secret Conduct Seed Tantra' says: The way of viewing Dharmadhatu and awareness is: Look at the unobstructed sky. In the Dharmadhatu, the wish-fulfilling jewel is clearly placed and should not be separated. Whoever sees like this is equal to the primordial Samantabhadra and has the same fortune. Then, the bindu is seen. There, focus and increase the appearance, from seeing one's own nature it is like this. From four fingers above the eyebrow, the fortunate person who is separated, how could he possibly enter samsara? Whatever appears as the wreckage of a ship, the qualities of the Nirmanakaya are accomplished by this. Whatever appears as the object of seeing, it is like a cluster. Whatever is the cessation of external appearance, in sixteen moments, it will also transform like this. The bindus of the immature and so on, and until the Rupakaya, in six, ten, five, and three, will not be devoured by demons, it is the Sambhogakaya. When one reaches the place where the inner body is exhausted, fingers and so on will also appear like that. Focus here, the elements are naturally purified. Through the difference of arising and entering, in the self-nature place where all dharmas are exhausted, abide without clinging to anything.
