Appearing as delusion, the delusion naturally ceases, and it dawns as wisdom. From these, the appearance of light appears as fragments, cloths, and broken boats, because the outer and inner realms are mixed, and there is no interruption in wisdom. From that, appearances such as eye webs, eye diseases, eye disease patterns, nets, half nets, flowers, thousand-petaled lotuses, hearths, and brocade tents arise, thereby making the appearance of dharmata the path. Moreover, the four lamps ascertain the signs and measures of the four appearances of the path. Through the far-reaching lasso, seeing the appearance of the direct manifestation of dharmata, one turns away from clinging to sectarian dogmatism. Through the empty bindu, seeing the increase of experience, one turns away from the appearance of clinging to the self-nature of bliss. Through the completely pure realm of space, seeing awareness reaching its limit, one turns away from the appearance of impure delusion. Through self-arisen wisdom, seeing the appearance of exhaustion, one turns away from clinging to the kayas and wisdoms. The second meaning is the detailed explanation of the individual nature of the four lamps, which are four: the far-reaching lasso water lamp, the empty bindu lamp, the completely pure realm of space lamp, and the self-arisen wisdom lamp. The first also has nine aspects: essence, definition, division, characteristics, its location, how it arises, the appearance of its arising, similar examples, and the determination of its measure. First, the essence of the water lamp is: because it holds both the part of samsara and nirvana, it is the clear basis of power that gives rise to the seer of pure appearance and deluded appearance, and the clear light channels that depend on it. As it says in the Tantra of the Golden Flower Adorned Jewel Lamp: O far-reaching lasso water lamp, its essence gathers both appearances, because the holding part of the seer does not cease, therefore, seeing with the holding of both parts, it is the view of samsara and nirvana being consistent. Thus it says. Second, the definition is: the image of clear light and the appearance of deluded earth and stones, holding what is far away, and throwing the deluded appearance of samsara together with deluded thoughts far away, therefore it is called "far." If one does not realize, one also throws nirvana far away, therefore it is also called "far." When seeing one's own appearance, because it binds the impure, it is a "lasso." If one does not realize, because one clings to deluded appearances and binds one's own awareness, it is also a "lasso," having the same nature as a rope. If one examines a rope, it is also made of each individual strand of hair being bound.

It's like being unable to stop it. If it is not examined, it is like a binding assembly. If the illusion and the perception of illusion are examined, they are empty in nature without a basis. If it is not examined, the delusion of mind and phenomena seems to bind self-awareness. When it appears to be bound, it is not bound. When it appears to be liberated, there is no self-nature of binding, so there is no liberation. As it says in Illusion: No one has bound, there is no binding. There is nothing to be bound. There is no liberation without binding. It is the spontaneously perfect Buddha Dharma from the beginning. In order to teach, he performed various kinds of entertainment. Just like it says. Furthermore, not allowing one's own appearance to spread upwards is also a binding, so it is a rope. Without clinging to appearances, being moistened by the joy and bliss of inner samadhi, it is called water. Also because the essence of water is gathered together, it is called water. Because the appearance of form is clear to the sense consciousness, and the appearance of light arises increasingly, it is called a lamp. Because it is not the basis for generating the appearance of the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, it is called mother. Also because the sense organ of essence is visible, it serves as the basis for seeing, it is called mother. As it says when the lamp is burning: The definite word is like this. Far is inheriting a distant lineage, so it holds the appearance of form, and collects colors and so on, and the body of wisdom also from afar, holds the seer, and from the side of cyclic concepts, because it throws far away, it is called far. Likewise, from the side of non-understanding, because it throws towards nirvana, it is far. Likewise, from the aspect of the appearance of samsara, form and the five desires, these are the ropes of binding. The object of the senses is appearance, because memory and thought cling to self, it is called a rope, clinging from afar. Likewise, in the cloudless sky, wisdom appears as a selfless body, not allowing appearance to spread upwards, because this clings, it is called a rope. Water is for those appearances, clinging naturally subsides, without a mind of attachment to all, appearance naturally abides, because there is no self-grasping, it is called water. Lamp is all of one's own appearances, increasing from above to above, the wisdom of wisdom is clear, so it is a lamp. The appearance of the gross elements, the operation of self-awareness is unceasing, and the self-nature gate of the senses is clear, so it is a lamp. Wisdom abides in the external Dharmadhatu, the internal
