Then, now, regarding this, a detailed explanation of the state of the channels, winds, and bindus will be given, divided into three parts: the channels as the support, the winds that rely on them, and the detailed distinctions of the bindus that reside. The first part has three points: a general presentation of the nature of the channels, a detailed explanation of the types of channels, and a presentation of how to practice. The first point is: As stated in the "Pearl Rosary": "From the channels, bindus arise, possessing subtlety and fluidity, adorned by their own radiance. These are divided into three parts: right, left, and central." Here, the meaning of these will be explained. The main channels are three: Roma, Kyangma, and Kundarma. Among these, Roma channel, because it obtains all tastes, is like salt. Relying on the bliss of the bindus, it generates an unparalleled experience, hence it is called "Ro" (taste). Also, because it arises from desire, it is called "Ma" (mother), relying on the one with desire, one can attain Buddhahood. Or, "Ro" means having few actions, and the experience gained through the illusion of bindus is difficult to express, hence it is called "Ma". Among these, what causes the conventional bindu to flow is the nature of skillful means. Kyangma channel, because it has no bends or branches, is called "Kyangma," meaning straight. By nature, it is the cause of both the ultimate and conventional bindus, maturing and differentiating the arising of the ultimate and the arising of the conventional. Because it is straight, it does not change. Because it is the basis of everything, it is called "Ma". Relying on it, one can attain Buddhahood without effort. Kundarma, meaning all gathered. Relying on it, bindus, the bliss of the channels, and the bliss of the winds all arise, hence it is called "Kun" (all). Because it pervades everything, it is called "Darma". Among these, the Roma channel coils from the left of the navel and runs from the right. The Kyangma channel emerges from the left of the tip of the heart, emerges from the network of throat channels, enters the top of the head, and protrudes from the left eye. The Roma channel emerges from the right eye. The Kundarma channel is located in the middle, straight, and divides into three tips, appearing in the central Brahma aperture, which is the crown chakra. From there, the non-conceptual wisdom body manifests. The right tip appears in the right ear, and the karma wind moves. Its two small branches lead to the nostrils.
