Then, the basis of sentient beings' bodies is held by wind. Knowing that cause and condition are inseparable, one attains the fruit of happiness and great happiness, the fruit of body and wisdom merging. Thus, in the mother's womb, on the night of the first day, the two causes and conditions of the parents become one external whole. Internally, while remaining unmixed like a pea pod, the son's wind-mind is held and dwells, so the four elements' bondage, like precious essence, binds and prevents any chance of separation. When the body is complete, if there is no food of the elements, life cannot exist, and this is where it comes from. At that time, the wind holding the body, the inner wind rises upwards with increasing power, trembling and remaining like a drop of mercury rising. When the body is complete, whatever sudden events occur to the body and mind, the key to fright, fainting, and trembling of the body comes from this. Then, on the second day, earth merges into one and presses down with weight, causing the son pain as if being pressed by lines from the crown of his head. At this time, the body's cause is held as if the flesh is just ripening, and the condition spreads like veins, like water. From the inseparability of the two causes and conditions of ignorance, liberation into non-conceptual wisdom is the key to the Great Perfection beyond acceptance and rejection. Above, the body's cause forms like moisture, like blood, and the condition flows like water, like tendons. Then, on the third day, the wind-mind, together with cause and condition, is burned by fire into fine dust. One experiences suffering as if falling into a pit of red flames. At this time, the body's cause appears like wind, like a deity, and the condition congeals like a foot, like ghee. Then, on the fourth day, the wind scatters them into fine dust of mercury. It is like the suffering of a bright wood chopping branches into pieces. This arises from anger. That is also the condition of the upper body's cause ripening into fine dust, revealing radiance. The vessel of the activity of the outer four elements is held by the inner four elements. When the body is complete, there are four seasons externally, and internally there are four activities of day, night, inner, and outer, all arising from this. Its key symbolizes the transformation of the four empowerments. Then, on the fourth day, pervading

Within the radiant and clear navel plexus, the light and mobile elements form and are propelled upwards by the wind. From this, in the four directions, the earth of water, fire, and wind cause the pulses to tremble, sway, and entwine, within which the letters khaṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) green, red, and yellow vibrate, sway, and entwine in accordance with those pulses, residing there. This arises from the increased activity of the mind when the body is complete. In the center of those four, that which is called "life" abides like an erected thread. That itself is called "life," called "time," called "occasion," from which it abides and increases or decreases. If that abides straight, then there is longevity. When matured in the body and fallen to the earth, the sound "ayu" is uttered. If the thread of life coils to the left, then there will be interruptions to life, and immediately upon birth, the sound khaṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) is heard. If it bends downwards, then life is short, and immediately upon birth, the sound a-khriṃ arises. In the treatises, it is said: "Life is warmth and life, and the basis of consciousness." This is the explanation of this. Then, on the fifth day, the water purifies the body and performs the action of growth. At this time, the earth's pulse becomes extremely stable and forms a holding, within which the letter saṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) yellow, clear, and radiant, forms, and the sounds of beings' speech arise dependent on that. In its four directions, within the pulses of earth, water, fire, and wind that hold, gather, and increase, suṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) white, red, and green each abide in accordance with those pulses, and from this arise the four modes of activity: walking, sleeping, sitting, and dwelling. Then, on the sixth day, fire and wind combine and perform the action of the body's formation and destruction. At this time, within the burning and spreading fire pulse, the letter raṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) abides intensely blazing and flickering, and the distinctions between the sharpness and dullness of beings' consciousness are distinguished by whether this letter is clear or unclear. In its four directions, within the spreading, burning, and incinerating pulses of the four inner elements, raṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) is growth, ruṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) is emptiness, and raṃ (藏文, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) is a symbol with the meaning of sleep, abiding, and the wheel of beings' memory and thought arises dependent on that. Thus, when six days are complete, the elements abide, taking their own functions as the basis for formation in the body. If it were not so, one would rely on the four outer elements, dependent on food and clothing, and have power.
