Made of any of the four: gold, water, crystal, or staff. It floats in the sky for forty thousand yojanas and radiates light. On top of Mount Meru in the center is the abode of the Thirty-Three Gods, consisting of five things: cities, gardens, land, trees, and excellent assembly places. The city is surrounded by Indra's palace. The general city is called Sudarshana, and it has three realms. In the center is the palace called "Complete Victory," each side being two hundred and fifty yojanas long, and rising half a yojana higher than Sudarshana. Eight eaves are decorated with seven-storied pavilions, each with seven residences. In the four directions of the palace are four gardens called "Various Groves," each adorned with jeweled trees, birds, and many ponds, and connected by nets of divine garments, musical instruments, nectar, and various jewels, filled with divine sons and daughters singing and playing music. The general city of Sudarshana is surrounded by various jeweled pavilions, beautifully decorated, each side being four thousand five hundred yojanas long and three and a half yojanas high. The inner land and streets are beautiful and pleasant, with flower rain falling in all four seasons. Outside the city are seven walls of seven kinds of jewels, with flowing water filling the spaces between them, where lotus and other flowers bloom and birds sing sweetly, and jeweled boats float. The border cities are located at the four corners of the summit of Mount Meru, with four heavenly cities decorated with five hundred-storied pavilions, connected by a five-yojana square, where the Yaksha deities, such as Vajrapani and his four brothers, reside. The gardens are located twenty yojanas away from Sudarshana in the four directions. In the east is the Various Groves garden, decorated with ponds, clothes, and vehicles, etc. In the south is the Rough Garden, which produces various strong armors during battles. In the west is the Mixed Enjoyment Garden, where immeasurable enjoyments can be experienced. In the north is the Universal Joy Garden, free from all sorrow and beautifully decorated.
