This is spontaneous accomplishment. Because the nature of awareness is not definitively established as "this is it," therefore it is considered to be the vast unconditioned beyond all directions, which is uncertain. Considering the nature of awareness to be immutable is definite. Considering the nature of awareness to appear as anything, therefore it is considered to be transformable into anything. Considering the nature of awareness to be the source of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, therefore it is considered to be able to accept anything. Considering the nature of awareness to appear as uninterrupted appearance, therefore it is considered to be diverse, called variegated. These are also established by seeing one aspect of the reasoning on the single nature of awareness. As it is said in the *Madhyamakavatara* commentary: "The reality accomplished from the basis, also from the manner of the seven abodes, from the aspect of various, spontaneously accomplished, from the measure of movement, uncertain. From immobility, definite. The measure of appearance is transformed into anything. Because all arise, with acceptance. Because of purifying delusion, primordially pure. All appearances are considered variegated." And as it is said in the *Klong Drug Pa*: "The basis of the initial accomplishment from the basis, existence is one and without others, from the aspects of deluded appearances, if determined by those who have realized, then it appears as the manner of seven stages. The appearance of the seven stages is also, from the appearance of one nature, because one is not known, it appears thus. However, the meaning of that is as follows: In the nature of spontaneous accomplishment, because of the gathering of various, it appears as essence. In the nature of dwelling without certainty, it appears as the aspect of moving mind. In the nature of dwelling in its own certainty, it appears as remembrance without change. In the nature of dwelling as transformable, it appears as the aspect of diligent wisdom. In the nature of dwelling as any nature, whatever appears appears as its own nature. In the nature of dwelling as variegated, it appears as the aspect of various individualities. In the nature of dwelling as primordially pure, it appears as primordially without stain. All these are the stages of mind, the nature is primordially pure." Secondly, explaining that the seven bases of clinging are flawed, like seven blind men describing an elephant, because of clinging to the aspect of realization of one aspect of awareness, each with deeply rooted prejudices, they make presumptuous judgments. In order to refute these views, there are seven points. First, refuting the view that it is "spontaneously accomplished," divided into two parts: stating the view and refuting the view. First is stating the view: the reality of spontaneous accomplishment, does not fall into India, nor does it fall into any
