Resides in its intention without separation. The six manifestations of the direct perception of taming the mind arise, knowing the nature of the mind. The six of purifying the mind know the root. The six of pacifying the mind know the characteristic of no-mind. The six of completely purifying the mind know the unchanging. The six of the non-reversing mind know the three realms as nameless. The six of transcending the mind purify the knower and the aggregation, realizing non-reversal. Thus, these thirty arise from knowing the divisions of the empowerment's transformations. Thus, the one hundred and eighty direct perceptions of pure seeing arise only from seeing with faith. Furthermore, when divided, the forty-five qualities of each of the four of faith arise from obtaining the empowerment with elaboration. By analogy, the one hundred and eighty direct perceptions of pure hearing also arise, and the qualities of the four wisdoms enter into them as before. These arise from the empowerment without elaboration. The one hundred and eighty of pure contemplation arise from knowing the meaning of the object to be transformed, purifying into wisdom, and the one hundred and eighty of pure experience arise from knowing the nature of determination, and the one hundred and eighty of pure knowledge arise from knowing the sutras, these three arise from the empowerment of extreme non-elaboration. The one hundred and eighty direct perceptions of pure Dharma arise from the empowerment of extreme non-elaboration. Thus, when combined with the earth, the qualities of the earth are two thousand three hundred and sixty, the activities of wisdom are six hundred and sixty, and the categories of Dharma are three thousand one hundred and twenty. These are the great divisions of the transformations of the direct perception of the earth of Vajradhara. These are the establishment of empowerment, which is the essential and important foundation of the first gate of the Dharma of Secret Mantra Vajrayana. In the treasury of the supreme vehicle, that which ripens the meaning of the foundation is the establishment of empowerment, the sixth story. Seventh story: The arrangement of vows. After the gate of empowerment has been well spoken, its fixed place is the vow. Therefore, explaining it is important for all who enter the gate of the unsurpassed Secret Mantra, so there are three things to be determined here: Vow

Generally explaining the nature of vows, specifically explaining the vows of body, speech, and mind, and supremely showing the unsurpassed vows. Firstly, regarding the eight aspects of vows: nature, definition, classification, basis, benefits, faults, means of restoration, and means of protection. Firstly, the nature is that which does not deviate from the alliance of the antidote force that binds the continuum with the vows of mantra. As stated in the Tantra of Supreme Vows: "'Vow' means binding; the vajra is difficult to transgress, a permanent guardian." As for the definition, the same text states: "Generally, the term 'vow' refers to the absence of anger in one's own mind, being free from all deceit." As for the classification, according to the general system of mantras, there are two types of vows: root and branch. The root vows are those of body, speech, and mind. The branch vows are twenty-five, with five each for what should be known, what should be accepted, what should not be abandoned, what should be practiced, and what should be accomplished. If we differentiate here, there are seven types of vows: vows of view, vows of conduct, vows of accomplishment, common vows, special vows of body, speech, and mind, branch vows, and vows of essential points. As stated in Rangshar: "The vows spoken of in the Hundred Thousand Sections, briefly hold them well in mind. That is, this is a brief explanation: vows of view that realize, vows of conduct of the tantra, vows of accomplishment that are general, common general vows, vows of body, speech, and mind, vows of the number of branches, and vows of essential points. Such vows, etc., are extensive and brief." The basis is the teacher, the disciple, and vajra siblings. As stated in the same text: "Inconceivable vows are said to be condensed into two types: the teacher and the disciple, universally known as the cause of protection. The cause of protection is the teacher; the one who protects is the disciple." Vajra siblings are defined as fourfold, as stated in the same text: "Vajra brothers are shown with four meanings: common, close, mixed, and mandala-vase mixed." That is, all who have entered the teachings, especially those who have entered mantra, are common siblings. Those of the same Dharma lineage are close siblings. Those gathered by the same lama are mixed siblings. Those initiated in the same mandala with the same lamp and the same vase,
