It should be written down. This is the characteristic of mastering secret mantras. Thus it is said. Second, regarding the specific signs and degrees of unwavering samadhi, there are two aspects: briefly explaining the practice methods of the three samadhis, and separately explaining the specific signs and degrees of each. First, when focusing on the essence of space-wisdom, what is most precious is extracted from the framework of the three samadhis. In the "Six Spaces" it says: I have three samadhis, namely, by abiding in one's own place, relaxed meditation, equally abiding in the reality of things; with the samadhi of sudden descent, dispelling attachment to one's own place directly; with the samadhi of vast expansion, abiding all appearances in their own nature. Thus it is said. The actual practice methods of these are three: body and speech relaxed, awareness not scattered to external objects, naturally relaxed and abiding, this is the samadhi of great relaxation; when the three doors abide in their natural state, awareness naked, clearly recognizing, this is the samadhi of sudden descent; viewing external appearances as illusory, knowing awareness as empty and clear, day and night engaging in the four-session yoga on the meaning of space-wisdom, this is the samadhi of vast expansion. In the same tantra it says: One should train in the three samadhis in this way. The samadhi of abiding in one's own place is, not blocking the doors of the senses, not engaging in physical activities, nor should one abandon sleep, but the mind is not separated from them. In short, body and speech abide in their respective states, the activities of the mind do not scatter outward, regarding the six sense objects, awareness does not change the mind of scrutiny, in the vastness of self-appearance, non-conceptualization, the experience of clarity and non-thought arises. The samadhi of sudden descent is, the body is as usual, speech is free from words, the mind is not tight. The samadhi of appearance vast expansion is, with body, objects, and awareness, grasping the degrees of self-appearance purity. Thus it is said. The second is divided into three, the first, determining the experience and characteristic degree of great relaxation is: In the "Six Spaces" it says: With the relaxation of the first samadhi, one gradually becomes familiar with the three bodies, through this meaning, one can be extremely close to the nature of things. The samadhi experience of familiarizing oneself with the three bodies is not produced all at once, these are all gradually realized. First, one obtains the samadhi nirmanakaya.

At this time, in one's own awareness, The dharmas never seen before, Appear in the intellect without arising in the mind. The words of one's own instructions, Are clear in the mind without being held. For the fortunate individual, The mind expands with the taste of dharma, Even if the body is six or seven days, They do not feel its existence. Rising from the surface of the earth, The experience of walking in space, Arises in one's own field of experience. If unfabricated awareness is placed in a fortress, One obtains one's own nirmanakaya in that way. When that awareness does not change, The sambhogakaya itself, In the stream of one's own awareness, Self-appears, free from all effort, Such is the experience. The light never seen before, Who sees it in segments? This also enjoys the sambhogakaya. The awareness of the fortunate yogi of good lineage, Is self-illuminating, the experience is clear. Without interruption of memory, thought, and faculties, The mind does not enter into other thoughts, Awareness is self-pure, without a lord of bliss. By being accustomed to self-illuminating wisdom, The inner clarity, the wandering mind, does not scatter outward, The mind does not follow after objects, Worldly affairs do not appear in the mind. With this, one obtains the sambhogakaya. Then, awareness in the sky, With the posture of a great garuda resting, Without distraction, entering into samadhi, Again, the samadhi of the dharmakaya appears. At that time, awareness is clear from the depths, Manifestly used in the lineage of the body. It is the measure of the increase of appearances, With awareness sharp and swift, Even the buddhas never seen before, At that time, people, Fortunate ones obtain this, Hundreds of thousands of millions appear in the mind. The body has not done before, The unknowing crafts and so on, As well as the arts and letters, Language and gestures and interdependence, How never seen before, All these are experienced, The sounds of earth, water, fire, and wind, Also obtain freedom with this. In short, the six abhijñas, Fortunate ones obtain this, The affairs of oneself and others, This individual will be able to accomplish. Alas! Great bodhicitta, The spontaneously accomplished intention of the three kayas, In short, the measure of experience is found in this way. Practicing the yoga of the nirmanakaya, The great compassion never before, Arises supremely in one's own continuum, At this time, the samadhi of the nirmanakaya
