As it is said, the yoga of continuous conduct, the yoga of continuous meditation, the yoga of continuous view, and the yoga of continuous result. Among these four yogas, the first has two aspects: generally explaining the nature of conduct and grasping the meaning of the present situation. The first is from the "Sun and Moon Union Sutra": "Whoever applies yoga to meaning should become accustomed to these conducts." Like the conduct of a bee, taste the flavor of all dharmas. Like the conduct of a wild animal, abandon places that become the cause of delusion. Like the conduct of a mute person, completely abandon deluded speech. Like the conduct of a wren, cut off doubts about secret mantras. Like the conduct of a madman, abandon places by staying alone. Like the conduct of a lion, abandon the mind of fear and wander in cemeteries. Like the conduct of a dog and pig, abandon pure thoughts of cleanliness and impurity. Like the conduct of a eunuch, immediately cut off memory and thought. Like the conduct of a young child, abandon deluded attachment for a long time. Like the conduct of a drum, guide with words that conform to the world. Like the conduct of an elephant, fundamentally reverse the battlefield of samsara. Like the conduct of a wild animal, abandon the concepts of son and enemy. Like the conduct of a prostitute, satisfy desires and limit time. Like the conduct of a mule, do not propagate the seeds of samsara. Like the conduct of a Brahmin, abandon the enjoyment and food of others. Like the conduct of a hero, distinguish the boundaries of samsara and nirvana. Like the conduct of a spring, keep the support of mindfulness in its own place. Like the conduct of waving a spear in the sky, thoroughly penetrate things. Like the conduct of space and wind, abandon the thoughts of grasping and being grasped. Like the conduct of a garuda, cut off cliffs with wings. Like the conduct of a mountain king, practice on the unchanging, self-pure nature. Like the conduct of the Great Vehicle, practice appearance without turning back. Thus it is said. The second is, thus

From one root (teaching), at this time, seven behaviors are to be learned, the first of which is to conform in every way, like the behavior of a bee seeking a nest: through listening, one distinguishes dharma from non-dharma; through thinking, one suppresses afflictions; through meditation, one uproots (afflictions) from their source. As it is said in the tantras: There are three kinds of wisdom: the wisdom of listening cuts off external attachments, the wisdom of thinking cuts off internal attachments, and the wisdom of meditation cuts off secret attachments. As an aid to this, without doubt, just as a bird, before entering its nest, first cuts off human attachments and then enters without error, so too, one first cuts off attachments through listening, and then, in whatever one trusts, one engages in practice without doubt. As an aid to this, is the behavior that is not accepted by the masses, like that of a wild animal: just as a wounded wild animal, due to the pain of its wound, flees from humans and goes to a valley cave or mountaintop no matter what, so too, the yogi should, out of disgust for samsara, be afraid of humans and thus dwell in cemeteries and other places where people do not frequent. As an aid to this, is the behavior like that of a mute: one cuts off speech and does not speak to anyone. By doing so, one's mindfulness becomes dull. The behavior like that of a madman: at that time, irrelevant words will spontaneously arise, just like a madman. At this time, there will arise the behavior like that of a dog or pig, without distinguishing between clean and unclean: one eats whatever is available, without distinguishing between good and bad food. Thus, when the six behaviors are complete, there will arise the invincible behavior like that of a lion: just as a lion does not feel fear or apprehension towards anything, so too, this yogi will be free from the harm of appearances and so on, and will be able to gain control in this very place. If these behaviors are given a name, they are called the behaviors of controlling appearances, that is, one is able to transform the disbelief of others, able to revive the dead, able to accomplish siddhis, and knowledge will arise like dharmata, so that one is able to control the elements of appearance, such as earth, water, fire, and wind. As the oral instruction for this (behavior), is the method of focusing on appearances: by practicing with fragments of dharmas, the image will be completely purified, and this arises from alternating between focusing and relaxing on whatever appears. This (method)'s
