At that time, the meaning is called the foundation of manifest existence, which means that all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, although not learned, can naturally appear in the mind. At such a time, afflictions are transformed into wisdom, and there is no difference between the appearance of consciousness as afflictions and the appearance as wisdom. It is liberated in one wisdom, and afflictions cannot harm it, just like dyeing cloth. As the "String of Pearls" says: The five aggregates, eighteen realms, and twelve ayatanas are liberated in the lineage and the lord of the lineage. So on and so forth. This is not like a practice that relies on behavior to cultivate, but is liberated by itself, so it is a condition for one person's complete and correct path. Secondly, there are also five yogas performed in the meditation session: the combination of meditation day and night, the secret instruction is the method of abiding like the sea, the key point at that time is the meaning of the foundation of manifest existence, the result is the increase of afflictions, and that time is the time of abiding in the Dharma. The first has four: the samadhi of the Bodhisattva, the practice of the profound secret mantra, the mind-holding of gods and humans, and the intention of the Sugata. The first one, as the "Thalgyur" says: That which arises from the descent of nature should be said to be pure samadhi. Channels, winds, bindus, body points, eyes, and emptiness are what is desired for practice. Letters, light, and colors, as well as the expansion and contraction of transformations, are what is said to be samadhi. The unaltered, self-abiding reality, as it is without change, is the intention of the Buddhas. So it is said. As the "Union of Sun and Moon" says: There are three practices: the practice of the mind of gods, etc., the samadhi of the Mahayana, and the intention of all Buddhas of the three times, that is it. As the "Self-Arisen" says: The mind-holding of gods and humans, the samadhi of the Bodhisattva, and the intention of the Tathagata are considered to be so. They are practiced with the common three meanings, as the "Thalgyur" says: Again, the life force of practice is spoken of, and it is determined and combined with the teachings of the mind. Other key points of practice have three types: preliminary, main, and subsequent. Taming the body and mind, perfecting the actions of speech, and entering the mind itself into the path. Relying on the wind, body and mind

Severance. (In order) to cut off the escape routes of the three realms, from the depths of the heart, eliminate attachment to body and speech. (In order) to make the six types of beings equally on the edge of a cliff, torment the crucial points of body, speech, and mind. (In order) to merge mind-essence with Dharma, draw the prana and consciousness upwards. (In order) to exhaust illusions, one should always be accustomed to prana. Thus it is said. Among these, first, the Bodhisattva's meditation has two aspects: essence briefly indicated, and categories explained in detail. The first is from the Dungyigchen: The Bodhisattva's meditation is to prevent the clinging of thought. The key point of the body is the lotus posture. The joints of the spine should be straightened. The hands should form the equal mudra. The neck should be bent slightly. The eyes should be placed on the tip of the nose. The key point of awareness is at the distance of an arrow. These should not be looked at with the eyes. The breath should be inhaled. When exhaling, it should be as long as possible. The mind should also be kept equally calm. Thus it is said. Rangshar says: The Bodhisattva's meditation is not the clinging of the mind, but arises naturally or forcefully. Having become accustomed, it merges into the Dharmadhatu, abandoning attachment to food. Those who abide on the ground practice it. Discursive thoughts naturally disappear. Thus it is said. The second is divided into three: The meditation of natural force exists at the time when the mind and consciousness are distracted, like the eyes as straight as an arrow, like the eyes of a rabbit sleeping in its burrow when consciousness is distracted. The meditation of abiding on the ground is the samadhi of each of the ten bhumis. The meditation of constantly relying on an object is artificial meditation, like the order of learning the four sessions of meditation. These are also said in the "Union of Sun and Moon": The meditation of the Great Vehicle, with the meditation of natural force, naturally settles the body and speech. With the meditation of constantly relying on an object, it suppresses the heads of sudden afflictions. With the meditation of abiding on the ground, it nourishes the life force of each individual stream of being. Thus it is said. Here, the meditation of constantly relying on an object is explained. There are two things that harm the yogi: temporarily, the harm of food and clothing, and ultimately, the harm of dreams and habitual tendencies, therefore there are karmas of samsara in the three realms, etc. In order to counteract these, one must learn the four sessions of meditation: cutting off attachment to food is one session of meditation, the attachment to clothing...
