Also. It shows the nature of remembering and scattering thoughts. Like and dislike, good and bad mind. For all kinds of things that exist and do not exist. Examine outwardly and think inwardly. The very memory of how one thinks. It is certain that the continuity of arising from outside will be cut off. The necessity of this is distinguished by the above. Having completed the practice in that way. Always rejoice in the obvious key points. That completion is not entering the three realms. It should be practiced with utmost secrecy. So it is said. Third, the method of guiding the mind is the preliminary practices of body, speech, and mind. Preliminary practices are divided into two: actual preliminary practices and abiding. Among them, the actual preliminary practice is. In the "Collection of Transformations": By the preliminary practice of the body. Because the causes of each action cease. Having done the vajra posture. Training the body benefits the mind. Speech is abiding as Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum). Increasing and training oneself. Seeking a good friend and entering the path. Thus, training speech benefits the mind. The mind is the place where it first arises. Abiding in the middle and going to the end. Thus, if one examines and analyzes the three. Training the mind, one knows the nature of the mind. So it is said. Abiding is said in that very same: One who possesses yoga abides. So it is said. The necessity of those preliminary practices is. Commonly, the obstacles of body, speech, and mind are pacified, and sins and obscurations are purified. The supreme necessity is liberation into the expanse of the Buddha's body, speech, and mind. There are two necessities for this. Examine the distinction between common and supreme. So it is said. The necessity of the three abidings is. By abiding the body, the aggregates, elements, and bodhicitta increase. By abiding the speech, one abides in the meaning that cannot be expressed, and the conceptual thoughts of words are exhausted. By abiding the mind, there is a necessity of liberation from the objects of thought and attachment. Those have already explained the preliminary practices. Second, the main practice, how the key instructions are explained in the tantra of the flawless wisdom yogi, there are four great categories of Dharma. First, how to torment the key points of body, speech, and mind. Relying on the three key points, to directly establish the nature of reality in oneself. After practicing in this way, how the four appearances arise. To show the oral instructions as a help or support or boundary for those. The first is. In the "Self-Arisen Tantra": Having done the preliminary practice in that way. In order to look at the obvious meaning. Body, speech

The mind must be completely subdued. The body should be like a lion, like a sage, like an elephant. If you do not move from these postures, you will have the same fortune as three thousand Buddhas. Speech should be like a mute, not making any gestures to anyone. A person who does this will naturally cut off the distractions of the mind. A person who subdues body and speech in this way will become accustomed to the light of the Dharmadhatu. Furthermore, in the *Transcendent Treatise*, it says: The key to manifestation is body, speech, and mind. The key to each must be followed precisely. Moreover, the body should not depart from the three kayas. Speech should be learned, abide, and repeated, and made firm. The mind is accomplished by entrusting it to the Dharmadhatu. Therefore, the key to the body is not to waver from the three postures, the key to speech is not to waver from the unspeakable, and the key to the mind is not to be distracted from looking at the center of the outer Dharmadhatu of empty space, and not to waver from the state of non-thought. These three should be practiced as supreme. Second, relying on the three keys, there are three ways to bring the manifestation of Dharmata directly onto oneself: bringing it onto oneself through the three keys, recognizing oneself through manifestation, and mastering the key through practice. First, in *The Only Son of the Buddha*, it says: In this way, by thoroughly mastering all the keys of body and so on, one can know from the instructions of the guru through wisdom and manifestation. Also, in the *Transcendent Treatise*, it says: The three keys and the oral instructions are inseparable. That is, rely on the keys of the door, the object, and the prana and wisdom. The door is to look at the three kayas with the eyes. The object is to be free from obscurations. The slowing of prana and wisdom accomplishes wisdom. Therefore, the key to the door is not to move from the three ways of looking. It says: The key is that the gaze does not move. At this time, combine it with the three ways of looking. Also, in *The Rosary of Pearls*, it says: The door is that which does not move, and the two clarifiers do not move. That is, when the two eyes do not move, the light channels do not move, and thus the continuity of thoughts is cut off. The key to the object is to fix the gaze on the space between the eyebrows and to look without distraction. This is called the way of looking at the Dharmadhatu and wisdom. Because space is the basis for the arising of the lamp of the pure Dharmadhatu, one should look at it.
