Samten (meditation), result, and dharmadhatu are complete in their own nature. As it says in the Pearl Rosary: Therefore, in the basic awareness, since it is self-arisen, appearance is complete; since it is self-born, the basis itself is complete; since it is self-appearing, the object is also complete; since it is self-liberated, the basis of delusion is complete; since it is self-purified, all paths are complete; since it is self-aware, knowable things are complete; since it is self-pervading, the result is complete; since it is self-ground, causes and conditions are complete; since it is self-realized, the nature of reality is complete; since it is self-returning, samsara and nirvana are complete; since it is self-abiding, tantras and agamas are complete; since it is self-complete, it is complete in one moment; since it is self-knowing, instructions are complete; since it is self-established, meditation is complete; since it is self-made, the realm is complete. So it is said. Then, La Zawa, Agampa, and Chingsum Chingsum are the most profound key points of Trekchö of this Great Perfection, so Guru Rinpoche spoke for the benefit of future generations. In short, as Khyunchhen said: The desire for a basic place is impossible in this mind. Whose basis is the ripening karmic imprints without a basis? Like a flower blooming in the sky, without a place to grow, without support, there is no place for the mind in the body, and karmic imprints cannot be supported. Therefore, whatever is done is a friend of the mind, and no one can benefit or harm it. Just as space and matter cannot be relied upon. The mind, which is originally boundless and impartial, in whom do samsara and evil destinies appear to be established? Like unreal dreams, illusions, and cities of gandharvas. The false appearance of a true result is impossible here. Since there is no body and wisdom, in whom do ignorance and other afflictions exist? Thus, La Zawa, abandoning the dharma that harms the mind that desires happiness, self-established, independent, samsara and nirvana are without action. Self is not other, appearance, awareness, and miracles too, by transforming the seen clinging and eliminating the obstacles of others. Settling down, the edge of verbal play is cut off, and whatever miracles of mind and thought appear are cut off. Gathered between the mind without dharma and action. Thus, Agampa, when the unmade samsara and nirvana are liberated, the Great Perfection itself is, what else is there? The mind is unobservable, and no one sees the reason. Therefore, there is no sin, what is the use of virtue here? The source of one's own tradition is combined with the very beginning. The clever box is discarded, and it cannot go beyond the three realms. Unmade fool

Resting in awareness, this does not abide in samsara or nirvana. Thus, the oath was declared. Thus, the instructions of Trekchö, which liberate the lazy from the ground, have been taught. Second, the instructions of Tögal, which liberate the diligent from the path, are twofold: teaching how it surpasses Trekchö in its distinctions, and explaining Tögal itself, which has distinctions. First, it is superior by seven distinctions: the distinction related to practice and application, the distinction of the body's essential channels, the distinction of the manifesting door, the distinction of the seeing faculty, the distinction of the direct manifestation of one's own essence, the distinction of the appearance of light, and the distinction of the increase of experience and perception. The first is: the outer sphere of empty space, the inner sphere of awareness, the bindu, directly showing the unbroken lineage of instruction, not relying at all on the wisdom of mental speculation. Because the essence of the instructions has no mixing, adulteration, or artificial fabrication, it is most excellent. From the absence of letters, the nature of awareness pervades all, but the Dharmakaya is found in the instructions. The second is: in Trekchö, awareness abides in the body, but without its essential point. Here, there is a special essential point. As it says in the Transcendent Intellect: The essence of the object is in the faculty, the essence of the faculty is in the mind, the essence of the mind is in the eye, the essence of the eye is in the channel. Therefore, from the posture of the body, the habitual tendencies and the connection to the body are severed, and the Buddha's intention is perfected. So it is said. The third is: awareness abides without conceptualization. In Trekchö, from the door of the mind, wisdom is sought from the sound of conceptual thought, but here, the sound of the non-conceptual clear light of awareness arises from the eye and is recognized, and is therefore also superior. As it says in the Transcendent Intellect: The essence of wisdom arises from the eye, knowing the way of seeing with the eye, one acts together with the Dharmadhatu. So it is said. The distinction of the seeing faculty is: in Trekchö, one sees with the faculty that grasps the appearance of the six objects, so various thoughts constantly arise. But here, with the faculty of the clear light channels, one directly sees the bindu, and when one sees it, thoughts cease simultaneously, and immeasurable appearances of wisdom arise. As it says in that same tantra: When directly seeing the bindu, the memory of the movement of thoughts ceases, like a bird going in the sky, one goes from the Dharmadhatu.
