Merely placing other things together with their activities without any modification allows liberation from one's own ground, which is the intention of leading view and meditation to the point of exhaustion. As it says in *Transcending Thought*: "For the impure illusion, without modifying the doors of the senses, directly placing is the key point, transforming from that is the pith instruction. In the appearance without grasping, awareness without grasping arises, seen with eyes without judgment, guided from the path without inherent nature, led to the ground without view and meditation, ripened in the fruit of non-doing and non-effort, in this, the edge of appearance does not remain." So it is said. Transforming when placing on top of appearance is the crucial point here. If awareness arises on top of form appearance, if one focuses on that very point, one will either fall into the dullness of calm abiding, or one will not go beyond any kind of scattered or agitated experience, therefore, here it is necessary to recognize the naked awareness of that moment and transform within its state. Secondly, the distinction is: there are four ways of liberation, accompanied by four key points. As it says in *Transcending Thought*: "Self-knowing awareness is free from all conceptual thoughts, therefore there are four ways of liberation. With the confidence of liberation through the four key points, the place of samsara and nirvana, because there is no unarisen and arisen, therefore there is no basis and root." So it is said. The detailed explanation of its meaning is: again, it says in the same text: "The so-called liberation of one's own mind, is not going from one place to another, the mind without bondage and liberation, is complete from the ground, therefore there is no coming and going, it cannot be found by analysis, there is no reason, because there is no basis and root, therefore the upper part is clear and abiding. That self-luminous abiding mind, is liberated through the key point, therefore there is no partiality, liberated through time, therefore there is no dependence, liberated through non-effort, therefore there is no diligence, liberated through confidence, therefore there is no effort. To this, it is explained that liberation through confidence, because it is primordially liberated, therefore there is no repeated basis, liberated by itself, therefore there is no antidote, directly liberated, therefore it disappears in the place of seeing, completely liberated, therefore it is without effort." So it is said. Among these, liberation through the key point of seeing naked awareness, and liberation through time as the unity of past and future without distinction, and liberation through self-placement without effort, these three are the meaning of exhaustive liberation. If we add the fourth point of liberation through confidence, then it is summarized into five. Naked awareness is primordially without the nature of bondage and liberation, applying the term liberation to it, in reality, because there is no bondage, therefore there is no liberation that has characteristics, as the great Garuda said: The meaning of self-appearance any

Clear like a mirror. Without alteration, without turbidity, unseized by anyone. It is the very essence of wisdom, without one or many. Without a basis, the path is exhausted, never having experienced a result. What appears to be seen and heard, one liberates all. Without searching, no one fails to find it, it dwells in the heart of all. It has always been there, transcending looking and seeing. That itself is it, the uncorrected primordial state. Cause empty, conditions vanished, essence uncompounded. Transcending the limits of action, doing, conduct, and grasping. Arising from intelligence and individually transformed. The way to abide is just that, no need to alter it from that. Effortless, no need to search, it is the reality of all sources of arising. Self-purifying, the laws of defilement are imposed and acted upon. I have realized that effort ceases, devoid of striving. Especially, what difference is there between liberation and non-liberation? Where does it exist? Wisdom is pervasive and vast. Thus it is said. Furthermore, this liberation, where children are bound by objects and consciousness, and yogis leave consciousness in its natural state, is superior to other key points. Again, from that very text: What is the key point of self-awareness liberation that is not corrupted by anything? Body, mind, and afflictions are its own attributes. Although they appear as causes to ignorant children, without interference or correction, the yogi's self-awareness. It is inherently self-liberated, and no one can liberate it. By abiding in its natural state without correction, what need is there for effort? Thus it is said. Secondly, explaining the specific categories in detail, there are three: briefly indicating the essence, elaborating on the nature, and summarizing the meaning with definitive examples and meanings. Firstly, the transparent and naked Dharmakaya of awareness is explained as the five bonds of complete liberation in relation to the five retrogression dharmas. As it says in the Garland of Pearls: In unobstructed awareness, there is no cause for confusion, therefore there is no retrogression. Because it is primordially liberated, it is completely superior. Because it is self-liberated, objective conditions are exhausted. Because it is directly liberated, appearances are purified. Because it is ultimately liberated, the four extremes cease. Because it is singularly liberated, the many are emptiness. Thus it is said. Secondly, there are five aspects: primordially liberated, self-liberated, directly liberated, ultimately liberated, and singularly liberated, explaining their nature in detail. Firstly, regarding primordial liberation, based on the key point of having no basis for re-creation, it is shown that it does not depend on view, meditation, or effort at all. Primordial, because it is universally pervasive, means without action or effort. It does not come from anywhere, it does not go anywhere, and there is nowhere to abide. Liberation is not like being released, so there is no need to strive through view and meditation. Liberation,
