Without anything, there is nothing to be established, it is the nature of that which is without. From actions, speech, and thoughts, understanding the key to liberation from samsara and nirvana, there is not a single one who does not attain Buddhahood. The three realms of samsara are completely emptied. Furthermore, all sentient beings of the three realms, not having gone beyond body, speech, and mind, therefore there is no need to seek the three kayas elsewhere, even if sought, there is no place to find them. By looking at that which has not arisen, seeing is greatly wondrous. The play of great wonder is without distinguishing between Buddha and sentient beings. Like clouds in the sky, self-arisen, complete in itself, and pacified. Through the distinctness of the manifest nature of reality, without sharpness or dullness of faculties, all sentient beings are none other than Buddha. Because embodied beings are pervaded by mind, there are no sentient beings who are not Buddha. Like fruit from a seed, the key to one's own nature, not expressed by words, with clear appearance in the realm of the senses, is the nature of seeing directly and being liberated. Furthermore, sentient beings due to conditions, there is not a single one who does not attain Buddhahood. Because self-appearing wisdom is in accordance with Dharma, samsara has never existed. Therefore, each and every one is a Buddha. From the moment of birth is realization, abiding in the womb is the Dharmadhatu. With the union of body and mind, the dhatu and awareness are connected. Abiding in the body is the three kayas. With aging, Dharma ceases, and illusory appearances stop. With sickness, one experiences the nature of reality. With death, there is no recognition of emptiness. Therefore, sentient beings are Buddhas. Thus it is said. From the "String of Pearls": How speaking and actions are, are the activities of clear emptiness and wisdom. Thoughts of good and bad are meditation like the vastness of a river. Wrong views, right views, and desires are yoga's non-discriminating view. All grasping at hope and doubt are effortless, spontaneously accomplished fruits. With the manifest desire for the Great Seal, eating and drinking are offerings, sleeping and sitting are accomplishments. All formations are remaining states. Brain and excrement accomplish the mandala. All three thousand worlds are in the mandala. Rain and mist fall in a drizzle. The path of going is the great vehicle, the footprints are colored powder paintings. The desire to go is the posture itself, the movement of limbs is mudra. How it is spoken is the words of mantra, thoughts are the generation stage.

The thoughts that arise in the mind are themselves offerings, The forms that appear are the bodies of deities, The loud sounds uttered are themselves musical instruments, One's own body is like a vase, The hair is like petals, beautifully adorned, The blood and lymph are all water, The heart and so on are filled with substances, Giving the powers that appear to oneself, Without invitation, it is complete in itself. Wanting to transcend lies in the vows, Wanting to protect lies in the bonds, Wanting to be liberated lies in the degeneration, Wanting to be nonexistent lies in the supreme Sage. All that is seen are symbols of mudras, Attachment to them is experience. Clear intelligence lies in the instructions, The union of body and mind is the place to plant, Birth, old age, sickness, and death are the key to habituation, The unceasing of the six consciousnesses is realization. Thus it is said. Secondly, the detailed explanation of how the body is formed is divided into three points: the actual formation of the body as the basis; the nature of the three—channels, drops, and winds—on which it relies; and how the pervading elements are complete. The first point is from "Lamp Illuminating": "Then gradually, of the vessel and essence world, The many appearances gather into form, Children who do not understand this, Like a water bucket, exist continuously, Each one's body and measurement." Thus it is said, how is it formed? From "Sun and Moon Union": "Then entering the gate of the womb, From the causes and conditions of father and mother, Appearances like soft and, Appearances like wriggling and, Appearances like dripping and round, Becoming hard and like a fish, Like a turtle and like a frog, Likewise, seven weeks, From the navel, bodies are produced, Nine months and ten days, The body is complete and comes out of the mother's womb." Thus it is said, countless intermediate state beings seeking a body gather at the womb entrance where parents copulate, like flies swarming on rotting meat in summer. Most beings whose lifespan is not exhausted, reaching the seven-week cycle, will die. Beings whose lifespan is exhausted and whose karma is compatible enter the womb through the excretory passage, taking the two—wind and mind—that take the body. The cause from the father—the white essence, the condition from the mother—the red essence, these four mix like blood and milk, and when the body is formed, these two—cause and condition—perform the function of the four elements of conventional truth, having the part of growth; the two—wind and mind—perform the function of the four elements of ultimate truth, therefore the body has the maturing function of maintaining, separating, and gathering.
