Searching for a body, from entering the womb to forming a mass like a congealed lump of flesh, then to the formation of name and form, and from that, the six sense bases, contact arising from the aggregation of conditions, the experience of pleasure and pain, craving for experience, taking objects and actions, again grasping onto existence, being born from the womb, the process of the group growing and changing in other directions is aging, and ultimately death, which occur in an interconnected manner. As stated in the 'Self-Arisen Sutra': It also arises from ignorance. From ignorance arises action. Action arises consciousness. From consciousness arises name. From name arises the nature of form. From form arise the six sense bases. From the six sense bases arises contact. From contact arises feeling. From feeling arises craving. From craving arises grasping. From grasping arises existence. From existence arises birth. From birth arises aging. From aging arises sickness. From sickness arises death. Thus, the appearance of illusory phenomena in samsara also arises from the power of the habit of grasping onto what does not exist as self, due to one's own ignorance. After the aggregates, elements, and sense bases of each individual's body are formed, they revolve from one to another and remain permanently in existence. As stated in the 'Muktika Mala Sutra': Thus, these three realms, the five aggregates and five faculties, five limbs and five hearts, five objects and five afflictions, five minds, five intentions, five discriminations, become the cycle of grasper and grasped. Such a dualistic illusion is like a rapidly spinning wheel, continuously revolving and existing for a long time. Furthermore, the five objects such as form arise from the part of grasping without recognizing that the five lights are self-manifestation. The five afflictions arise from the part of not recognizing that the five wisdoms are self-nature. The five kinds of body and mind that gather various things arise from the impurity of the self-radiance of the nature of reality. The five kinds of mind that seek from all directions arise from the impurity of the five winds. The five kinds of grasping onto self with thought and memory, grasping onto self in various objects, grasping onto self in various movements, grasping onto self merely in the appearance of knowledge, and grasping onto self with dharma and discrimination, are all because the movement does not cease within itself.
