There is not even a little bit of the establishment of form and wisdom as separate entities, merely from the subtle aspect of the clear and profound manifestation of wisdom. From the three, essence, nature, and compassion, since the essence abides as form, the manifestations of the three bodies are not distinct with differentiated characteristics. Nature is the manifestation of clear light, therefore it is not differentiated by colors. In the aspect of compassion manifesting as wisdom, since the form does not fall into an object, it is merely a part of form and wisdom respectively. The respective aspects of the three bodies, essence, nature, and compassion, are actually present. As it says in the *Thal 'Gyur*: Moreover, since the essence abides as form, the rains of Dharma, enjoyment, and emanation, without separation or distinction, are accomplished from the natural flow. Even the color of the form and so on are beyond the realm of the mind. Nature is the aspect of light that manifests, from white, red, yellow, green, and blue, there are no differentiated characteristics, accomplished from the flow of undifferentiated knowables. Compassion is the basis of various manifestations, not determined to be one particular form, because of the diverse appearances, it is called the "ground." It also says, with regard to the essence of the sole Dharmakaya, since it is not established anywhere, reaching the end at the point of exhaustion is also it. "The fruit cannot be expressed, but when all phenomena reach the point of exhaustion, the limit of one's own accomplishment also collapses. At this time, the oral instructions of the guru are obscured, the limits of view, meditation, and conduct are exhausted, therefore what appears as Dharma does not exist. The continuum of form and wisdom is severed, therefore there is no Buddha and no sentient being. In short, nothing remains, since there is no going, there is no coming." It also says, in the *Klong Drugpa*: I have explained the fruit arising in the three times, you should keep it well in mind. By familiarizing yourself with the sound of the Dharmakaya, empty and clear, pervading, one's own body is liberated into oneness. At this time, abiding in the sole Dharmakaya, one is established as Samantabhadra, the primordial protector, and from that state, the benefit of others arises, therefore it is called Vajradhara. In that same tantra it says: This is the fruit of all the Buddhas of the three times, self-abiding in the essence of Samantabhadra. Whoever familiarizes themselves with this fruit of the Buddhas will also become the glorious Vajradhara. The primordial protector, immaculate and pure, arising spontaneously from the womb of light, is the nature of the activities of all the Buddhas, obtaining the body of the great supreme secret, the yogi who knows not to turn back from that

O fortunate one, endowed with skill and power! For those who have reached the pinnacle of all fruits, I, Samantabhadra, am equally fortunate. Thus it is said. To clearly show such a Dharmakaya itself, it is divided into two parts: the basis, the Dharmakaya itself, and the dependent, the extensive explanation of the aspects of wisdom. Among these, the explanation of the basis, the Dharmakaya, is divided into three parts: essence, definition, and classification. The essence of the Dharmakaya is the essence of self-originated wisdom, which possesses both the pure realm and pure wisdom, is free from all extremes of elaboration, and has profound clarity, and is immutable. As it is said in Rigpa Rangshar (Self-Arisen Awareness): "Immutable, unceasing, and pervasive, these three are the essence of the Dharmakaya." Thus it is said. The definition is that the ultimate object of pursuit is the Dharma of emptiness and clarity, primordial purity, and it is the body or realm that is the basis of manifestation for all bodies and wisdoms, therefore it is called Dharmakaya. As it is said in the same Tantra: "Imperishable, emptiness, and clarity, these three are the definition of the Dharmakaya." Thus it is said. As for the classification, although the self-essence is beyond the extremes of elaboration and without differentiation, it is not contradictory to classify it in consideration of the aspects of qualities or certain aspects of reversal. Therefore, when classifying the branches, it is divided into the general classification of the nature of the five perfections and the specific classification of the nature of the five: body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity. First, when classifying by means of emanation, in the state of the Dharmakaya of the Dharmakaya, the realms are inconceivable, the place is the Dharma nature beyond thought, the samadhi is the great immovability, the retinue is diverse and the nature is non-dual, the teaching is the inexpressible Dharma nature, and the time is the Dharma nature that never changes. In the state of the Sambhogakaya of the Dharmakaya, the realms are free from dust and without impurity, the place is where the recollection and mental discrimination are cut off, the samadhi is without desire for mind and mental events, the retinue is the actor of empty self-appearance, the teaching is the completely pure object, and the time is the impermanent Dharma nature. In the state of the Nirmanakaya of the Dharmakaya, the realms are emptiness, and there is no interruption anywhere, the place is abiding on the basis of all manifestations, the samadhi is the uninterrupted self-clarity, the retinue is the unbiased three bodies self-accomplished, the teaching is the unconditioned nature, and the time is the manifestation of the essence. As it is said in Rigpa Rangshar (Self-Arisen Awareness): "Clarity, radiance, and non-mixture, these three are the objects of the Dharmakaya." Immeasurable, without object, holding
