One should settle into that. In the lion's sleeping posture, awareness is directed at the eyes. Just let the mind be on the path of space. If the essence and awareness do not change, that person will have no bardo, and there is no doubt about attaining Buddhahood. Thus it is said. These two methods of transference are taught sequentially for the sake of the yogis of Trekchö and Tögal. Thus, after being liberated in the ground of primordial purity, the spontaneously accomplished jewel of self-benefit, having obtained the firm sovereignty of the Dharmakaya King in the secret chamber, from that state the Rupakaya appears, and in all the worlds of those to be tamed, without limitation or bias, emanations radiate unimpeded, accomplishing the two benefits spontaneously. This is not present in the lower vehicles, so the Greatness of the King of Vehicles, the Vajra Essence Spontaneously Accomplished, is this. The scriptural authorities for these will be shown at the time of the result. The teaching that awareness is beyond cause and condition: When the miraculous display of the unborn arises, to grasp at the characteristics of cause and effect is a mistaken mind. Ati teaches that there is no cause and condition, which is not suitable reasoning for the lower vehicles. The essence is unborn, and from the state beyond cause and effect, play and ability appear as a miraculous display, which is not suitable for the vehicle of cause and effect. Here it is suitable, that is, from the unborn, unobstructed appearance arises, like the miraculous display of space. From the Kunje Gyalpo: This essence of all, the Bodhicitta, is spontaneously accomplished from its own nature from the beginning, so there is no need to seek and accomplish it with the ten natures. My nature is like the example of space. In space, all do not exert effort. In space, all should exert effort. The nature of space is beyond all effort and accomplishment. Thus it is said. In the state of samsara and nirvana, awareness is inseparable, merging into the Great Perfection of equality: The intention and conduct of Buddhas and sentient beings are inseparable, and to grasp at samsara and nirvana as two is a mistaken mind. Ati teaches that there is no duality, which is not suitable reasoning for the lower vehicles. Like samsara and nirvana in a dream being one in one's own mind, so samsara and nirvana are one in the state of awareness, thus transcending the extremes of acceptance and rejection, hope and fear. In Tsal Dzog it says: Samsara and nirvana are self-awareness itself, not separate, without duality. Thus it is said. Merging into the absence of realization and non-realization.

That is, liberation in non-realization and non-non-realization, considering liberation after realization as the enemy of equality. Ati declares equality as one taste, which is an unattainable key for lower beings. All dharmas are inherently liberated, so there is no need to realize and liberate now. If they are not inherently liberated, then realization cannot liberate them. If they are already liberated, then there is no need to liberate them again. The nature of realization and non-realization should not be made into bondage and liberation. Thinking that liberation comes from being pointed out is also a mistaken thought. On the nature, what is bound that you are trying to liberate? The unobstructed awareness that is not established anywhere is free from the two, the object of realization and the subject of realization, so there is no liberation to be done. Realization does not make it better, and non-realization does not make it worse, so in equality, there is no need to suddenly realize. The ultimate truth of dharmata transcends the mind, so it is not established as something to be realized. Even in the relative truth, the so-called realization is only a mistaken thought. Here, there is nothing to realize, no pointing out, no meditating on the nature, and it is declared to be beyond view and meditation, so it is called beyond realization and non-realization. As the Great Garuda said: "The essence of investigation and analysis, the mind is exhausted, the path of stainless stillness, without confusion, without seeing, without comparison, is the essence of all wisdom." And as the Decisive Sutra said: "Liberation is only a name, whose dharma is realization and non-realization? To whom is liberation aimed at? For whom is the entry into the three realms possible? The dharmata that is free from the extremes of existence." Those who recite without relying on the key points of skillful means and wisdom, without relying on the differences of the expressive skillful means, do not want to realize the inexpressible, which is the mind of a fool. Ati declares the meaning and non-difference, which is an unattainable key for lower beings. In the lower vehicles, if one does not rely on the skillful means of one's own mind, such as the channels, winds, bindus, and the two accumulations, then one thinks that it cannot be seen. But here, without relying on anything, the greatness of realizing directly and nakedly is only suitable for Ati, because the nature of awareness has never been separated even for a moment, so realization and seeing are only names. As the Great Garuda said: "Blocking the winds and closing the eyes binds one's own mind. Without fabrication, without dependence, without a basis, the fabrication of the body, the rest of clarity, and appearance are bondage, without direction, without falling into extremes."
