Seeing that one's own awareness, the nature of reality, is inseparable from purity like the sky, whatever appears is the play of empty form and awareness. Whatever changes is primordially enlightened, without a trace. Because it is equal in the nature of the three times, it is liberated in the great liberation of non-action and beyond mind. Therefore, it is called the time when the teachings of acceptance and rejection are exhausted. As it is said in the *Uttaratantra*: 'There is no movement from the one thought. Appearances are clear on the basis of appearances. Like a face and a mirror, liberation is liberated in that and that itself. In that self-born empty realm, seeing is not a different awareness. That itself is liberated on its own basis. Because knowing one liberates all, the limits of two and three are exhausted. The object of thought and grasping does not appear. Movement and grasping are empty from the beginning. Because the thought of emptiness is clear and complete, the limits of many are exhausted.' Thus it is. The yogi whose realization arises from within is shown to be liberated into the nature of reality without any choice in whatever arises: Let whatever happens happen, let whatever appears appear. Let whatever arises arise, let whatever is be what it is. Let whatever is be whatever it is, and let it be nothing. There is no difference on this awareness, because it arises from the nature of one awareness, there is no good or bad on the ground, and whatever arises is nothing other than the power of awareness, so there is no good or bad in the nature of the power, and because it is liberated by arising, if it is not grasped, it will dissolve by itself, so there is no good or bad in the nature, and whatever arises and appears is an appearance that does not exist on the ground, so it is already empty. Because there is no doubt of establishment or refutation, like the water of a mirage, there is no need to grasp the clear appearance with the mind. For a yogi, there is no choice of acceptance or rejection of object appearance and mental thought, because it is unified in the groundless, dharma-exhausted, nameless. Transcending the limits is called a term, as it is said in *Rigpa Rangdrol*: 'Appearance is empty of the dharma of things. Emptiness transcends the dharma of signs. Transcendence itself cannot be expressed.' Thus it is. The yogi who realizes complete liberation without reliance has no fixed conduct, and practices in the ordinary, natural appearance, which is: Conduct is not fixed, awareness transcends the peak, there is no calculation of dharma and non-dharma, transcending the scattering of no reliance and the prison of sects. Eating, walking, sleeping, sitting, day and night, spreading out flat, in the state of equality of self-nature and dharma-nature. There is no god to worship, nor a demon to strike, no medi

Abiding naturally in a state of unforced ordinariness, Like an unpretentious king, without pride, all at once. Frank, relaxed, utterly alone, Effortlessly at ease, free from striving and accomplishment. Here, for those who abide in the Dharma and the path, if they deviate from the ordinary and spend their days and nights busily engaged in various Dharma practices, what good is it to abide in ordinariness? If that's the case, what's the difference between worldly people and yogis? This should be understood as follows: One is that because they have not trained their minds in the Dharma from the world itself, they have no Dharma in their minds, and therefore they are separated from the activities of the Dharma. The other is that they are at ease because they realize the Dharma as effortlessly complete. Because they have attained the Dharma, abandoned the Dharma, and transcended the Dharma, they have no Dharma activities and appear in a natural, ordinary state. Furthermore, worldly people are preoccupied with the world and their minds are enslaved by it, whereas yogis do not have this. Therefore, it should be understood that they are not the same as ordinary worldly people. If they were the same, then just as worldly people wander in samsara, yogis would also fall into confusion. But because the three doors of body, speech, and mind are free from activity, there is no cause for confusion. And because ordinary appearances are clear and transparent, there is no bondage, and they are liberated from karma and its maturation. For example, a rope made of hemp that has been burned by fire may still appear to be a rope, but it can no longer serve the purpose of binding, because it has been produced from being burned by fire. Similarly, in the mind of a yogi, because of transparency, knowledge appears to arise as affirmation and negation, and although they may appear to hold food, clothing, and wealth, they realize it is like a rootless dream and do not cling to it, and therefore it cannot bind them. Worldly people do not have this, and because they cling to self-characteristics, their minds are bound, just like a rope that has not been burned by fire. Because affirmation and negation are freely present in their inner minds and outer appearances, they are bound. Therefore, in the presence of the Lord of Yoga, it is said: "Whatever you are attached to, let it go. If you realize it, it is everything. No one else will know anything other than that." And again, in a subsequent instruction: "Appearance does not bind, attachment binds. Cut off attachment, Naropa." Like that. A refutation of the mistaken notions of ordinary people: Those who have little merit and fortune, and whose minds are not inclined towards realization and the great Dharma, will say, "It is enough to engage in the practices that should be done from the state of realizing the true nature. Don't you want to obtain the fruit of that, which is happiness?" Answer:
