From the very moment of appearance, it has never existed, self-arising only in the self-nature of emptiness. The appearance of the six aggregates' realms, like a play of dreams and illusions, self-arises in this state of awareness. From the absence of letters: What is seen is unceasing, appearing like my form; What is heard is unceasing, sounding like my voice; What is smelled is unceasing, sensed like my scent; What is tasted is unceasing, pursued like my flavor; What is felt is unceasing, swift like my mind; The secret afflictions are my magical displays; Buddhas and sentient beings are my burial ground. All-creating, I am the great self-illuminating appearance. At the time of the beginning when there was no appearance, The six minds, swift in discernment, are unceasing, Memory is unceasing, the six aggregates freely arise. Thus it is said. In the Root Wisdom Treatise, it says: Like a dream, like an illusion, like a city of gandharvas, thus it is born, thus it abides, thus it also disintegrates. Now, since all phenomena are gathered into self-born wisdom, from the very moment of the arising of self-appearance, which is the appearance of inner and outer imputations, it is spread out in the great equality of non-action. How appearances and sounds arise, in this great state of the dharmadhatu, spontaneously equal, unmoving, dharmakaya bodhichitta. Primordially empty, without change or alteration. Whatever appears is the nature of reality, the state of self-born wisdom. Without action or effort, bliss is gathered into one space. Whatever appears, from the moment of appearance, is not other than the state of awareness, just as whatever appears in a dream is not other than the state of sleep. Such awareness is primordially empty, unchanging, like the sky. Therefore, what appears from its state is also a play of non-appearance and emptiness. Therefore, since nothing is established as self-characteristic, there is no need for acceptance or rejection, hope or fear; the key point is that it has already arisen from the beginning. Now, without further effort or hope and fear, rest in that state of self-dissolving equality, in the great, unconditioned, natural state. In the Lion's Complete Power, it says: The supreme essence of the all-pervading, all-encompassing heart, equally entering the realm, dissolves into the self-born state. Limitless meaningful activity, the ground of self-aware great bliss. Essence appearance, dissolves into the space of the kaya. Nature all-pervading, the dharmadhatu appears limitless. Uncontaminated self-born, free from the extremes of elaboration. Dharmadhatu, awareness clear, nature all-pervading and vast. Not a dharma of doing and being done, transcending the realm. Spontaneously accomplished, self-appearing, ultimately enjoying all.

Thus it is said. From the Kun Byed: "O, teacher of teachers, Kun Byed Gyalpo, prophesied in the uncreated circle, how does the uncreated essence, the root of all dharmas, establish itself through appearance? If the meaning of the single essence of self-nature is realized, then the self-nature of all is gathered into Kun Byed itself." Thus it is said. Thus, the Dharmakaya without acceptance or rejection, the essence of meaning beyond activity, is also the self-born wisdom of rigpa. Its self-nature, self-luminous and pure, is the uncreated Sambhogakaya, as it is taught: "The self-luminous, unmoving Sambhogakaya is spontaneously accomplished from whatever appears. It is uncreated, unchangeable, spontaneously equal and vast. The self-face of rigpa abiding in self-luminosity is the spontaneous arising of the Sambhogakaya. It is the uncreated great equality, the empty-clear, unchanging self-nature." Similarly, the unimpeded manifestation of rigpa arises from the beginning as the Nirmanakaya. From the manifestation of various unmixed dances, the meaning of the self-born, wondrous, magical Nirmanakaya does not move from the actionless Kuntuzangpo. Just as clarity appears unimpeded on the surface of a mirror cleansed of dirt, yet is not stained by it, so too, however the manifestation of rigpa appears, it is not stained by the essence, and the unimpeded power manifests as the Nirmanakaya. The completion of the three kayas in the realm of rigpa is from the Kun Byed: "From the self-nature of Kun Byed Bodhichitta, the spontaneously accomplished one without seeking is the essence of all Buddhas, the three kayas. My self-nature is the uncreated, accomplished Dharmakaya. My essence is the uncreated, accomplished Sambhogakaya. My compassion is the manifest Nirmanakaya, the three. It is not the teaching of a result accomplished after seeking. The three kayas are gathered into Kun Byed, me. All dharmas, however they appear, are the uncreated three of self-nature, essence, and compassion. The three kayas are taught as my suchness." Thus it is said. From the Yi Ge Med Pa: "My five kayas self-arise, the pure land, the dharmata, is completely perfected." Thus it is said. Also, when explaining the spontaneous accomplishment and perfection of the Kayas and wisdoms of the Dhatu, some who are ignorant and whose hearing and thinking are impure, loudly scold, saying, "If sentient beings now have the kayas and wisdoms of the Buddha and are perfected, then it is very good, very good, but it is impossible!" This is like the sun not
