The spontaneously accomplished nature in the unchanging Suchness, and the qualities of the Dharmadhatu, the inseparable Kaya and Jnana, naturally abiding, are the wonderful and amazing Dharma, the eternally unchanging Jnana, abiding in the self-born luminous Bodhicitta, although Samsara and Nirvana arise due to the conditions of realization and non-realization, the essence of that which is immutable in any place, the Dharmata, the perfect nature, the noble essence abiding in the Great Perfection, to the branch of knowing the reality, I prostrate and praise. From Rangshar it is said: In the essence of the true meaning, there are no Buddhas and sentient beings. Because there is no awareness of grasping, it is emptiness. If you do not abide in emptiness, then abide in your own great bliss ground. The supreme lord of all Buddhas should be known as your own awareness. This self-appearing king of awareness is present in everyone, but there is no realization. So it is. After that, the vow to compose is: The pinnacle of the vehicle, the realm of Mount Meru, sun and moon, the realm of spontaneously accomplished Vajra Essence, the realm of effortless and uncreated self-nature descending, listen to the explanation of the primordial, vast, and wonderful! Such is the instruction. The nature of mind is self-born wisdom, although the meaning is one, the order of establishing it depends on the different faculties, and there are many orders of vehicles, but they are all included in the nine vehicles. From the Ati Great Arrangement it is said: There are three small orders, the Dharma that corresponds to their minds, the Shravakas who are defiled by conceptual thought, the Pratyekabuddhas who have attention, and the Bodhisattvas who have conceptual entry. The teachings of the three middle ones are: the extremely inferior is the Kriya, the inferior is the Charya, and the one with names is the Yoga. The three great orders are: the one with mind is the generation stage, the one with heart essence is the completion stage, and the most secret is the Great Perfection. Thus, the one who reaches the peak of the nine is the Ati Yoga Vajra Essence, and among the three sections, the unsurpassed Bindu of the Upadesha section is the ultimate peak, hence it is called the realm of Mount Meru, sun and moon. Again, it says: Those with intention are the section of mind, those with space are the section of space, and those without gradual effort are the Upadesha section. So it is. Since the nature is pure and transcends creation and destruction, the luminous one is the realm of Vajra Essence, diligence.

Since it transcends fabrication, it is the realm of naturalness; since its essence is primordially pure, it is the realm of primordial pervasiveness, wondrous. Vowing to explain and compose the meaning of wisdom, the mind of enlightenment, Ati Vajra Garbha (Skt. Ati Vajra garbha), like the sky, for the benefit of future generations. This realm is praised as the pinnacle of all views. As it says in "Self-Arisen": The pinnacle of all views, is said to be Ati Dzogchen. The meaning of opening opportunities through vastness, should be known as like the sky. The meaning of vast, deep, and difficult to fathom, is like the depth of the great ocean. The meaning of the gathering of clear rays of light, should be known as the mandala of the sun itself. In order to be liberated from the limits of conceptual thought, it is said to be the king of secret mantra methods. So on and so forth. These have already explained the first aspect, which is the cause for entering into writing the treatise. Now, in order to elaborate on the actual content of the treatise, which is the place of entry, the abode of the secret king will be explained in thirteen chapters. First, since samsara and nirvana have not moved from the realm, it is taught that all dharmas are emptiness, without change in the state of the Great Perfection. Regarding the state of spontaneous Great Perfection of the wisdom three bodies, although samsara and nirvana are self-arisen, they have not moved from the realm of spontaneous accomplishment. From the realm of spontaneous accomplishment, the basis from which all arises, the essence is emptiness and the nature is unceasing, nothing is established, and anything arises. Although samsara and nirvana are self-arisen from the realm of the three bodies, they have not moved from the realm, the pure land of the nature of reality. Thus, the essence of wisdom, the self-nature of purity, the emptiness of the Dharmakaya, the self-nature of luminosity, the perfect Sambhogakaya, and the unceasing manifestation of compassion, the Nirmanakaya, are the three that are spontaneously accomplished without needing to be sought from the beginning, and are the great treasure without decay, the mandala of the luminous base. From that state, the self-appearance of the pure Buddha, the self-appearance of impure sentient beings, no matter what arises, from the moment of arising, it is merely the play of the realm of dharmata, and nothing else arises. Just as whatever good or bad is dreamed, it has not moved from the state of sleep. As it says in "Self-Arisen": From the state of emptiness, the sun of wisdom arises, from the mandala of the great treasure without decay, the unchanging five bodies arise. In the state without conceptual thought, the non-dual play. The five aggregates not placed on the true ground, the dharma of appearance.
