Without abandoning the periphery, in the self-arisen primordial wisdom, Seen by the pure yogis of Longchen Rabjam. From the beginning, appearances and mind naturally abide in the nature of reality, With unwavering samadhi, a stream of water arises. The supreme essence of Vajra Peak, the mind of Kuntuzangpo, The vast and supreme Dharma is equal to the edge of the sky. Without distinction, it is the supreme practice of meditating on all. Primordially pervasive, miraculously perfected as a king. From the beginning, the all-encompassing, clear light stream, In this state of non-acceptance and non-rejection, spontaneously accomplished, The nature of samsara and nirvana, the supreme realization of the Dharmadhatu. Unwavering, beyond expression, space-like, is Longchen itself, For all beings, it is naturally accomplished from the beginning. The mind that perceives self as other is a deluded mind, The mind that desires to meditate and strive is a deluded mind, Delusion rests naturally in the equal realm of Dharmata, The unwavering, primordially pure nature of space. Without action or effort, without acceptance or non-acceptance, In the unchanging, spontaneously accomplished Dharmata, With self-awareness free from attachment, thought, and seeking, When repeatedly looked at, one sees that there is nothing to see. The awareness without anything to see is the all-encompassing view. The unmeditated awareness, free from acceptance and rejection, When repeatedly meditated upon, one sees that there is nothing to meditate on. The awareness without meditation is the all-encompassing meditation. In the state of non-duality, free from acceptance and rejection, When repeatedly practiced, one sees that there is nothing to practice. The awareness without practice is the all-encompassing conduct. In the spontaneously accomplished, free from hope and fear, When repeatedly accomplished, one sees that there is nothing to accomplish. The awareness without accomplishment is the all-encompassing result. In equanimity, Without conceptualizing objects, Without clinging to mind, hope and fear cease. To abide in that state of equality between object and mind, There is no natural movement from the space of Dharmata. In the realm of characteristics, the absence of realm abides all-encompassingly, From the beginning, non-dual awareness is all-encompassing, In the state of Great Perfection, without distinction between samsara and nirvana, Everything is spread out equally without acceptance or rejection. Existence and non-existence are equal in the Dhatu, Buddhas and sentient beings are equal in the Dhatu, Relative and ultimate truth are equal in the Dhatu, Faults and virtues are equal in the Dhatu, High and low, directions and boundaries are equal in the Dhatu, From the self-arisen state, whatever play arises, At the time of arising, it arises equally, without good or bad, Why is there a need to correct it with acceptance and rejection? At the time of abiding, not
