The Precious Treasury of the Dharmadhatu. The Precious Treasury of the Dharmadhatu. First Chapter: Showing that Samsara and Nirvana Do Not Move from the Dharmadhatu. DHA RMM DHA TU RA TNA KO SHA NA MA BI JA HA RA MRA. (Tibetan) Dharma Dhatu Ratna Kosha Nama (Sanskrit Devanagari) dharma dhātu ratna koṣa nāma (Sanskrit Romanization) Dharma, Dhatu, Jewel, Treasury, Name. (Literal Chinese meaning) Thus abides the Treatise called "The Precious Treasury of the Dharmadhatu." In Indian language: Dharma Dhatu Ratna Kosha Nama. In Tibetan: The Treatise called "The Precious Treasury of the Dharmadhatu." Homage to glorious Samantabhadra. Primordially spontaneous, wondrous and marvelous Dharma, Self-arisen wisdom, luminous Bodhicitta, The treasury from which arise appearance and existence, vessel and essence, samsara and nirvana, Homage to the unmoving, free from elaboration. The pinnacle of vehicles, the realm of the king of mountains, sun and moon, The realm of luminous, spontaneous Vajra Essence, The realm of effortless, non-doing, natural abiding, Primordially vast, marvelous, listen to the explanation. From the spontaneous realm, the basis from which all arises, Essence empty, nature unceasing, Thus, not established as anything, yet appearing as anything, From the realm of the three kayas, samsara and nirvana self-arise, yet not moving from the dharmadhatu, the field of bliss of suchness. The great realm of mind-essence, the unchanging nature of space, The realm of unfixed play, compassion, and miraculous display, All are not separate from the adornment of the dharmadhatu. The power of inner and outer gathering, the Bodhicitta, Because it is not anything, yet appears as anything, Wondrous miracle, amazing and marvelous Dharma, All inner and outer beings appearing as forms, Are the adornment of the dharmadhatu, appearing as the wheel of the body. All sounds and voices that are heard, are the adornment of the dharmadhatu, appearing as the wheel of speech. Memory, awareness, movement, non-thought, immeasurable, Are the adornment of the dharmadhatu, appearing as the wheel of mind. The six classes of beings, the four modes of birth, Do not move even an atom from the nature of the dharmadhatu. Appearance and existence, the six objects, the appearance of grasping and being grasped, In the nature of the dharmadhatu, appearing without existence, like an illusion. Without support, relaxed, primordially empty, vast, Self-luminous, just as it is, appearing as the adornment of the dharmadhatu. How appearance and sound arise in this great nature of the dharmadhatu, Spontaneously equal, unmoving Dharmakaya Bodhicitta, Primordially abiding, self-empty, without change or movement, Whatever appears is the nature of self-arisen wisdom, Without action or effort, swirling in a single realm of bliss. Self-luminous, unmoving Sambhogakaya, Whatever appears is spontaneously

trụb。

trụb. Without alteration or transformation, naturally level and expansive. From the display of various unmixed play, The meaning of emanation, self-arisen, wondrous magic, Is never moved from actionless Samantabhadra. In the nature of bodhicitta without precipice, Even though the three kāyas are spontaneously perfect without effort, Without moving from the expanse, spontaneously accomplished, uncompounded. Even though kāya, jñāna, and activity are spontaneously perfect, The expanse of the great assembly, primordially complete, great primordial light, A field spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, without change. Even seeing dharmatā from the state of dharmadhātu, Unobstructed knowledge dawns as an ornament of the expanse. Without doing or accomplishing, it is the very nature of abiding from the beginning, Like the sun in the sky, a wondrous and amazing dharma. In this womb of the expanse spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, Saṃsāra is Samantabhadra, nirvāṇa is good. In the realm of Samantabhadra, saṃsāra and nirvāṇa are not there from the beginning. Appearance is Samantabhadra, emptiness is Samantabhadra. In the realm of Samantabhadra, appearance and emptiness are not there from the beginning. Birth and death are Samantabhadra, pleasure and pain are Samantabhadra. In the realm of Samantabhadra, pleasure, pain, birth, and death are not. Self and other are Samantabhadra, permanence and annihilation are Samantabhadra. In the realm of Samantabhadra, self, other, permanence, and annihilation are not. Holding what is not to be existent is labeled as delusion. On the nature like a rootless dream, Attachment to the self-characteristics of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa is very strange. Everything is Samantabhadra, the great spontaneous accomplishment, Since it is not mistaken, will not be mistaken, and will not become mistaken, Existence is merely a name, beyond the extremes of existence and non-existence. No one, anywhere, has ever been mistaken, Is not mistaken now, and will not become mistaken in the future. This is the view of the primordially pure three realms. Since there is no delusion, there is no dharma of non-delusion. Spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, great self-arisen awareness. Has not been liberated, will not be liberated, and will not become liberated, The past is merely a name; no one has ever been liberated. Will not be liberated; bondage is not there from the beginning. Pure like space, without limits, free from partiality. This is the view of complete liberation, primordially pure. In short, from the womb of the vast expanse of spontaneous accomplishment, Whatever saṃsāra and nirvāṇa arise as the play of energy, Just as they arise, saṃsāra and nirvāṇa have never existed. Whatever dreams arise from the energy of sleep, In reality, they are meaningless; the bed of self-awareness and bliss Is naturally level, spread out in the great expanse. The first chapter, showing that saṃsāra and nirvāṇa do not move from the dharmadhātu, from the treasury of the precious dharmadhātu, is complete. །། Second, appearing in the realm of existence,
