Its meaning cannot be conceived or expressed. This is known as an example of pure nature. The meaning is self-aware, space-like Bodhicitta. It is beyond the realm of thought, beyond expression. Self-luminous, unmoving, a vast expanse of clear light. Unmade, spontaneously perfect, without wide or narrow, high or low. The Dharmakaya is the vast center of the essence of Bodhi. The sign is that anything arises from its potential. When it arises, there is no place to arise from, no one to arise. Examining the name "arising" is like the sky. Because it is absorbed into the great, impartial equality, it is a realm of flatness and non-grasping. Self-born wisdom, the nature of reality beyond direction. The definitive examples of example, meaning, and sign have been shown. In the nature of the three great nails of space-like equality, everything is all-encompassing, and there is no distinction in nature. In the embrace of the vast realm of flatness and equality, everything is primordially equal, without before, after, or middle. It is the intention of Kuntuzangpo Vajrasattva. Bodhicitta is like the essence of the sun. Naturally luminous, inherently uncompounded. Without the dharma of obscuration, it is transparent and spontaneously accomplished. In the nature of non-conceptual reality, without the collection of elaborations, the Dharmakaya is empty, the Sambhogakaya is luminous and complete. The Nirmāṇakāya, radiant with light, the three bodies are inseparable. Since the qualities are inherently and spontaneously perfected, there is no darkness of faults and defects to obscure it. The three times, past, present, and future, are unchanging and one. It pervades all Buddhas and sentient beings as one. This is called self-born Bodhicitta. Its potential is that anything arises. Conceptions and non-conceptions, existence and non-existence, vessel and essence, and the appearances of beings, in all their variety. Although all of these arise, their nature is unimpeded. Like the water of a mirage and the sound and image of a dream. Emanations, reflections, cities of gandharvas, and like cataracts, appearing clearly without existence. Just a sudden appearance without basis or support. Understand it as a temporary, occasional phenomenon. From the nature of spontaneously perfect Bodhicitta, unceasing play manifests the miraculous transformations of samsara and nirvana. Because all those miraculous transformations are absorbed into the expanse, know that they have not moved from the original state. Here, everything is the state of Bodhicitta. One perfection, all perfections, unmade, all meanings are perfected. The nature is spontaneously perfect, self-born wisdom. Bodhicitta, in appearance and non-appearance, samsara and nirvana, inside and outside, is not a dharma.

However, from the nature that arises from that power, various plays of appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, manifest. The very moment of manifestation is the form of emptiness of self-nature, appearing to arise from the unborn. At the time of appearance, there is actually no arising. Although it appears to cease from the unceasing, the unceasing is the form of illusory emptiness. From the very moment of abiding, there is no dharma of abiding, no abider, no basis, in a state of no going and no coming. Because however it appears, it is not established as such, it is merely designated as without self-nature. That appearance is also naturally manifested from power, so it is merely said that this is dependent origination, a symbol of self-nature. From the very moment of appearing from power, there is no appearing and non-appearing, no direction and no boundary. Power is also merely a symbol, with no essence whatsoever. Everything is always in a state of unchanging, without the slightest movement from the mind of enlightenment. From the Treasury of the Dharmadhatu, Chapter Three: Showing Examples of the Mind of Enlightenment.
